Yes crickhollow, I can definitely see that. I think you are an Ozzian by birth, sent to give us a taste of wackiness. Someday you'll find your way home! ;-)

thank you, my dear englishnerd, you'd fare well there yourself, though my instincts tell me you hail from Cair Paravel, yes?

Narnia is cool, but not as good as LOTR. The Narnia books take me about an hour each to read, so I don't bother. Much. Oh ya, did you know that C.S. Lewis & J.R.R. Tolkien were really good friends? Cool, huh?

The reason I choose Narnia over LoTR as a location to stay is primarily that it is so much more peaceful than Middle Earth or Beleriand. Valinor is basically heaven, so I don't count that as an option for choosing at this time . I'd obviously be more glad to go to heaven than to any fantasy realm, but few wouldn't fell that way.

So in terms of fantasy realms, because of the bliss, peace, prosperity, friendliness of the creatures, the fantastic animals, and the presence of Aslan, I choose Narnia.

LoTR would be a pretty good place too, and more realistic in a lot of ways. I like reading LoTR a lot more than I like reading about Narnia, but in terms of locations, I'd choose Narnia.

I agree. I like C.S Lewis. But JRR Tolkin is better in my view.

C S Lewis is weird and his worlds are just scary and unfriendly.

I'd love to live on Discworld.. then Granny Weatherwax could teach me all she knows! Also, I know it's kinda this world, but it would be ace to be The Slayer, or Lara Croft.

I guess you couldnt really call it a fantasy world, but i like the life Euny and Juniper lead in the books Juniper and Wise Child. They are dorans- rather like druids. I'd love to be a doran in the time they lived.

Well, of all the fantasy saga's I've been reading, Middle Earth seems the most inviting, most notably Valinor.

How to choose? I like Krynn, and Middle Earth, although everyone's too touchy there. Valdemar is pretty darn close to democracy, and Vales are awesome, but Xanth would be awefully interesting! I DO NOT want to live on Discworld. It's too much like here, so what's the point? Of course, the whole point of Discworld is to sardonically portray the world in the hilarious disguise of total fantasy, but no thank you. There are many more places I would want to live, Narnia, for example. I think Narnia is supposed to represent heaven. Aslan then becomes God, and the humans must save the sacred land. That would wxplain why the animals don't just join with Aslan and kick the witch's behind. (My mother, an English major, fed me the theory)

Aslan's Country is Heaven, not Narnia.
