A guy at your school can't remember your real name, but remembers you by your favorite LOTR characters name.(happened to me yesterday)
You tell him either one with work. (did that today)
You're flattered that someone was about to call you by your favorite character(been that way since he told me)
You sign you're homework papers as Such and Such AKA so and so (do this all the time with my drama work)

By the by, just today I did an obsessed thing...

At lunch, my straw was rolling toward the edge of the table, but me, with my hands full, ould not stop it. It fell and I screamed dramatically "Gandalf!". My friends did not get it. ^_^''

When you sighn your name by first writing your first two anitals (can't spell) and then your last name, and wishing that you had 2 middle names so that it would look more like JRR Tolkien, instead of just being JT (my last name), but your satisfied anyways, because you think that it is SO cool, and then you make a mental note to sighn your name like that on anything that you write, if your allowed to, just so that you can fill more like Tolkien.

1) you curl up in a ball on the floor, clutching your precious, if anyone's hand goes near it or anyone even mentions it
2) you absentmindedly finger your precious during class/work
3) you spend hours poring through LotR to prove a point to someone concerning it
ummmm.....
i might've done this one already:
4) dress in black on the deathday of any middle earth person (i.e. boromir's death was feb. 26)

This many times per hour, and you're Legolas_GreenLeaf and Celebriel. (I wouldn't even think to equate my straw/pen falling off the table with Gandalf falling fighting the Balrog.)
