Ok those last few posts were great!
rTR did you forget Elnar was coming with Cumaar and Willow. He will prove quite useful.

BTW rTR...Alatar doesn't have Narya. Curmaar does...unless he got a cheap Chinese bootleg of Narya?

Right, I just noticed that you called Alatariel a wizard. Sorry, I'm slow. But, she's not a wizard.

Sorry.

I'm thinking of a way to tie Elnar in. I've started already, in case you haven't noticed. Little by little anyway.

hmm, that would make Curmaar servant of the secret fire right?

that way Alatar could still be Wielder of the flame of Anor, unless the flame of anor is in fact Narya in that case i'm screwed and i'll come up with someting else....let me know and I'll edit it.

Well... Not really. She's immortal but not of that world. Not a breed of anything, really.

It's complicated.

AAAAAGH!!!! MIND MELT!!!
Here's what the Encyclopedia of Arda had to say...
"'You cannot pass,' he said. The orcs stood still, and a dead silence fell. 'I am a servant of the Secret Fire, wielder of the flame of Anor. You cannot pass."
Gandalf's challenge to the Balrog
from The Fellowship of the Ring II 5 The Bridge of Khazad-dûm

A mysterious power claimed by Gandalf in the face of Durin's Bane. It is nowhere else referred to, and so its particular meaning remains unclear. Anor is the Sun, and so literally the 'flame of Anor' would be the light of the Sun, which originated in the fiery fruit of Laurelin, one of the Two Trees of Valinor. Gandalf seems to be referring, then, to the power he gains as a servant of the Lords of the West, in defiance to the corrupted darkness of the Balrog.

Alternatively, it has been suggested that Gandalf is referring here to Narya, the Ring of Fire that he bore. This idea certainly fits with the notion that he was the 'wielder' of the Ring, and that it had a fiery character. However, it seems highly unlikely that Gandalf would want to reveal his ownership of a Ring of Power - a matter of utmost secrecy - to one of his greatest enemies.

So I guess your post stands. Alatar can be wielder of the Flame of Anor, if Mithrandir passed that power on to him. So it would work just like you said up there.
Phew...got that straight...

You said fair skined elf. When I introduced him Colomir noticed he didn't look like an elf. Just letting you know for future reference.

I'm glad we got that figured out, I always thought narya was the "secret fire" since at that time Gandalf didn't wear it openly, so the mysterious "flame of anor" is like the force for wizards.

Whoa, wait a sec! Why is everyone going back to MT?
Faramir will fight his own battles...

I'm just going back because... well... Willow has a very protective stance when it comes to Aragorn.

Don't worry...
By now, the attack by the Druedain will begin, and the parties involved (rTR and Acalewia) will need to RP it. The Assassin is also coming, with his army. The battle should begin before aid can come...a little more dramatic that way.
When nightfall comes, there'll be a little time for dialogue with the mini-Fellowship.

So, should Willow keep heading for the icedrake or shall I make a detour?

The fellowship ought to stay together, although a sub-plot/detour would work, as long as it doesn't head back to MT or totally negate the trip
