(er, that couldn't possibly have been correct grammer.) エレッミレさんはすごい!外国語好きでしょう。(私はとくにロイシャ(?)語をなりたいんです よ。)

OK, what I meant to say was:
Elemmire, you are very very cool (I'm imitating a song from Dragonhalf when I say とてもとても) ! As for me, I like French but I'm not so good at it. And I learned some Spanish, then forgot it. Elemmire is awesome! You probably like learning foreign languages, (I take it)? (I want to learn Russian, especially.)

Ah, ever notice how sometimes it's easier to say things in Japanese? Stuff doesn't always sound right translated.

はい、言葉が すきです。 私は スペイン語と フランス語で 反すから、日本語は 少し無図化しいです。 すべては ちがうです。
Hai, kotoba wa suki desu. Watashi wa Supeingo to Furansugo de hanasu kara, Nihongo wa sukoshi muzukashii desu. Subete wa chigau desu.

Ah... what the hell...

Oui, j'aime les langues. Parce-que je parler français et espagnol, le japonais est un peu difficile. Tout est different.

Not in English. Not in Spanish. Sorry.

私は、フランス語とスペイン語が日本語よりむずかしい。。。フランス語で話してみて時(?)。 。。:"Je m'appelle Katya desu."^^ (でも、たいてい”Katya"といわない。)じゃあ、しゅくだいがあるから、行かなきゃ。そして、ち ょっとねむい。夕べおそくねてしまった。>.< またね!

I think French and Spanish are harder than Japanese...and whenever I try to talk in French..."Je m'appelle Katya desu." (which may or may not be spelled right) (but, I usually don't say "Katya" [because that's not my real name, of course]) Well, I have homework so I have to go. And, I'm a little tired. I stayed up late last night. (How *does* one translate "shimatta"? Usually if someone says it by itself it's like "crap!" but that doesn't work so well here.) See ya!

そうですね。カチャさんは おもしろいです!いまは、しけんが ありました。むずかしくなかったですが、わ たしは ”オウイ“で はなしました!よくなかったです。カチャさんの しゅくだいは むずかしく ないですか? じゃあ まった!

Is that so? You're funny, Katya! Now the test is done. It wasn't hard, although I said "oui"! That's was not good. Katya, your homework isn't difficult, right? See you later!

Could a firtree be tight and nice or should it be compact and nice in translation from the Swedish Tät och grann ?

I would use the word dense. A firtree forest can be dense and nice.

Thanks. It's awful to get stuck on words when the translation is otherwise flowing unhindered.

Yeah, I think so, but this one is a sort of trailer so perhaps workshop trailer would do, eh?

はい、しゅくだいはむずかしくなかった。。。とおもう。。。本当に、まだしていない。*sweatdrop *だけど、大丈夫。今日日本語のクラスがなかった。Rotary Club meeting へ行ったから。つまらなかった。けさ、かんじをれんしゅうして、学校へ行った。五時におきた。
車にうたう事が好きだよ!けさ、「さようなら、愛している。あなたをだれより、そらよりもふかく。なかない で、まだ会うね?でもあえないこと私だけしっているの。」や「今うんめいのとびらがひらくso just fall in love むなさわぎするこのしゅんかんをのがさないDon't stop, baby!」や「もいちど会えるさあ、大好きなともだち。わすれることない、大好きなともだち。」とうたて いた。
I understand the first one, don't understand the second, and the third reminds me of my friend. うたうことがたのしいけど、今のどはいたい。

yeah, the homework wasn't hard...I think....actually, I haven't done it yet. but, it's ok. today I didn't have Japanese class. Because I went to a Rotary Club meeting. It was boring. This morning, I practiced kanji and went to school. I woke up at 5. (this sounds so weird...)
I really like singing in the car [like, incidentally, I did on the way to the meeting]! This morning, I sang "sayounara, aishiteiru. anata wo dare yori, sora yori mo fukaku. nakanai de, mada au ne? demo aenai koto, watashi dake shi tteiru no." "ima unmei no tobira ga hiraku So just fall in love munasawagi suru kono shunkan wo nogasanai Don't stop, baby!" "mo ichido aeru saa, dai suki na tomodachi. wasureru koto nai, dai suki na tomodachi." etc. ... singing is fun, but now my throat hurts.

NOTE: The -te form of "shiru" tends to get edited out, haha. (It's shi, minus the ru, plus -tte)

I also like to sing. I'm going to eat dinner. Tonight I want to go dancing. Sorry, I can't think right now. I'm tired.

ああ、ばんごほん!今日、私は本当に朝ごはん、ひるごはん、ばんごはんをたべた。日本のごはんをたべたこと がある?アメリカのごはにょりおいしいです。

ah, dinner! today, I truly ate breakfast, lunch, and dinner. (for those of you who don't know Japanese, the words for breakfast, lunch, and dinner mean "morning rice, noon rice, evening rice.") Have you ever eaten Japanese rice? It tastes better than American rice. (And it sticks together real well, so you can make rice balls and things out of it.)
