I will leave, I will leave the woods that bore me;

thanx!

name ten animals that appeared in LOTR that we still know today. (Mumak and Warg don't count, by the way. And neither does "human")
Good Luck!

2. Dog (FOTR, TTT)
3. Eagle (FOTR, ROTK)
4. Cow (FOTR)
5. Pig (FOTR)
6. Chicken (FOTR)
7. Worm (ROTK)
8. Moth (FOTR, ROTK)

Cat (FOTR) (at the Prancing Pony, if you're looking...)

(You'd have to expect I'd know that, wouldn't you???)

What are the first and last lines of each movie? (extra credit if you can get both theatrical and extended of each.)

Start: "The world is changed, I feel it in the water, I feel it in the earth, I smell it in the air"(There is elvish before that, but it translates to the same thing)
End: Sam, I'm glad your with me

Two Towers
Start:You shall not pass!Or, if that doesn't count, it is Sam's "What is it Mister Frodo?"
End:Follow me!(Gollum says it)

Start:I've got one!
End:"Well, I'm back"

Could you specify a bit please:

At which point in the trilogy do you mean?

He is in Ranger's Garb for the entire trilogy up until the end of ROTK and a short period in Imladris in FOTR, oh and his dream in TTT.

And do you count Tunics as a "shirt?"

Umm...yeh. His shirts throughout the movies except those points that you mentioned. And it depends what you mean by "tunic." If you classify tunic as long shirt, yeah. If you classify it like i do, a tunic is generally made of different marerial, and is usually considerably longer than a shirt.

Ok, yeah, I was referring to his long black tunic, the one with the four split ends for his sword, knife, and maneuverability.

But in that case, maybe?

FOTR: two, if I remember right, his red shirt which he always wears even though you don't really see it. And his black over shirt.

TTT: ummm, three, His red one, his black one and a chain mail shirt which he adds at Helms Deep

ROTK: two, his red one and the chain mail, plus the long tunic.

Any of those what you were looking for?
