that's an image I've fought to lose as well (although Bill and Ted would probably have destroyed the matrix easliy, albiet by total accident ).

I get to see reloaded on Sunday

BTW, with nothing else coming out about Matrix: Revolutions, the long wait for the trailer which comes right after the 10 minute or so credits is definitely worth it.

Damn, you all get to see it before me. But anyway, there are still 3 Animatrix films which I have not seen yet.

pretty cool??? That was sooo awesome! Whoooo I loved it! I can't really tell you if the first or second is better, I'd say the plot was a lot stronger in the first one, but there were tons of amazing fight scenes and special effects in the second!

My Review.

Matrix Reloaded was, by no comparison, a let down.

The Matrix (1) was an intelligent (to my mind), "think" movie. It made you ponder...

The Matrix Reloaded had alot more fights, that last longer, and to parden the pun, pack a punch. The storyline isn't as complete as the first, and the dialogue is hardly what the movie was about.

I personally felt the massive orgy scene, and sex scene were unnecissary to the plot. There are tasteful ways in which to do these things (filming ahem ahem)[to tell that Neo and Trinity are oohing and aahing over eachother], and they should have taken into consideration WHO the movie goers would be. (teenagers who already see enough sex on television) The first Matrix didn't need to show Keanu Reeves naked to sell tickets.

Albeit, Reloaded is a good watch--and keeps your attention most of the time, it is not even in the same ball park as the first.

And who in the world would end a movie with...

"To be concluded"

Stupid...

I thought the second half was great, much more up to the standards of the first movie, and more philisophical, but the first half was disappointing.

The sex scene was entirely pointless, stupid, tasteless and boring. Honestly. And cutting it with the big rave-like scene in Zion was not at all artfull/whatever they were going for. Morpheus' speech was ever so cliched and I know I've heard it somewhere else. The fight scenes were wonderful but some of them dragged on. There are better ways, by far, to show how much Trinity and Neo love each other--all I got from that was a strong sense of Lust which is not quite the same, as far as I am concerned. Didn't make me feel anything for Neo--oh poor you, you won't get to have sex with this hot lady who looks good in skin tight leather anymore. Please.

But, don't get me wrong, aside from these...complaints...I really enjoyed it

I don't know what you all have.

The sex/rave-party scene was my favourite. Zion looked like great fun. (sounding very shallow and dumb as I am saying this).

BTW, now I know why Neo was flying away at the end of the Matrix. Finally got the point of it.

I disagree entirely. I thought it was the most pointless scene and nearly ruined the movie. But that's just my opinion

Saw Reloaded again today, loved it again. And this morning they had this thing on the radio about philosophy and the matrix, which was really cool. So I thought a lot about all the philosophy in it again. That, in my opinion, is the best part

IMO, the scene did make sense.
1. To show that Zion was fun after all, that they were not only working and fighting, but that they knew how to enjoy life.
2. To show that Neo was always hunted by these dreams. Always.

Watched it again yesterday. In English. I think I finally got everything about the movie and I love it more than ever. Watching the original language is so much better. I love Carre-Annes voice.
