Just something I noticed from way back in the thread, that I thought I'd comment on...

Well, if you really feel bad about not having one, and if the nice comment R*an provided isn't snide enough, I suppose I could oblidge by doing some more.

Hey! Did anyone else notice that they put this smiley in just for me? Yay! Thanks, admin-types! I owe you one, maybe two days of good behavior.

Woah that's an AWESOME picture Lal! How did you get you in colour with Stonehenge as black and white? Was it two pictures? Did you take them both? (I've recently been getting into digital photography. )

I need to update mine to something a little more complimentary. Hm...

Great photography!
Or should I say, editing.
It was two pictures developed onto one peice of paper, wasn't it. No, wait, that's CG. Hmm...this is a tricky one.........

Did you hand-color yourself afterward? I know a lady who does that.

Um, no it's not two pictures. It's one that my mother took of me at stonehenge, all I did was edit out all the little tourists in the background, and the rope. Then I just changed the background colour to black and white (by hand - hence why some of the grass is unfinished, and some of the clouds don't join... it's hard work, and your hand starts to cramp after awhile). Then I tweaked the colour balance on stonehenge, so the stones were a little more blue - because they seemed to blend in with the sky.

Oh, and thanks.

You are a genius! That's totally brilliant! I didn't notice any flaws in the grass or clouds so no worries there.

Kill would have been the right word (I wish ). It was fun, editing them out actually... hehehe

Anyway, I used a couple for the 'tourist-killing', because it was more of a experiment photomanipulation than anything else (um... I was bored). So I used the clone tool for a while, to see how good that worked, and then moved onto a couple of brushes - which I've forgotten. Should really write all this down... half this junk ends up in a journal for my portfolio.

That's good to hear, cos all I see are flaws.

I actually looked for the flaws this time. I can't see mistakes in the clouds for the life of me, but I did notice a smattering of green in the grass in the foreground. I think it looks kind of cool that way.

It's like you are speading colour into this bleak world... the lady of colour.

Well that's good to hear - after god knows how long, I got extreamly tired from doing it all. I had a headache and my hand was starting to cramp. Not to meantion the frustration that it was causing me, so I just gave up and left the grass as it was... *shrugs* people seem to like it, so I guess it was a good thing.

Ah, this has a couple of meanings to me - but it's always fun to hear other peoples interpretations. *shameless plug time* I have more of my stuff on my deviantart site (address in the sig). It's mostly poetry and not my best stuff, but it's alright I suppose. I have something against posting all my work on the net, people tend to try and pass it off as their own, hence the reason why most of my things have my name plastered right across them. Anyway... have a look if you want.
