Treachery from ancient times,
Done by the black.
In the endless tears of wars,
The tall was beaten and ran to the south.

Does it have anything to do with Nirnaeth Arnoediad and/or the Union of Maedhros?

Just to revive this thread:

I'm Tears, I'm sadness,
I lived to forget
And remember in madness
My life and end it.

There are seven letters in my name
And I will always come at end
For the first I come in spring
In winter the second meet me
But I always come at the end
For I am last.

mallorn? Elessar? does the "first" refer to the Eldar, and the "second" to Men?

I think I know what he means, as I've thought of it before; it's because of this line:

Oh. That I there doesn't mean the letter "I" but the pronoun "I" (like "me").
