The alliance and the dwarfs in the battle

in command of the 10, 000 that were send to aid the elf was fili the large second captain of the new realm of gundaruin. He was riding a vast rhino but the rest were on foot except. They all carried two hatchets and a big war axe on the there backs after the fashion of the warriors of nogrod. Each dwarf was clad in a hauberk of mithril that hung to his knees, and his legs were covered with hose of a fine flexible mithril mesh, the secret of whose making only possessed by the Durin's realms. All wore masks that were hideous to look upon, when the dwarfs came to the battle a lot had gone badly and many elfs were lost as bolg's power was tremendous he was a strong captain and soon fili and bolg would beat in hand to hand combat. But the meating would be grim and the sky would turn dark when that time comes. The dwarf archers stood with the remnant of finarfin's house as they were very weak in battle and needed the most support but balin, fili the large, and thorin the knights of belegost were standing tall on there humungous rhino's with the king of the noldor, the horses of the noldor look like but dogs to the rhino's of the dwarfs. When the dwarfs came the hearts of the elfs rejoiced as the dwarfs were great warriors in battle and good allies to have, Galdor and fili met and there appeared to be a lot of freindship between the two as they were both well respected warriors. He ask if the house of hador would come and vist the realms of the dwarfs as it is a beautiful place

Feanors host came in sight of the three towers and now the host split. The host was 240000 strong incjuding the dwarves and would soon raid upon this towers. Feanor was filled with anger and he couldnt wait to meet the coward bolg and told every one to let Feanor slay him. Feanor had seen him in the first battle giving orders and now wished more then ever to fight him in single combat.
At last the alliance stood but outside the range of archers of morgoth and prepared their forces. Sudenly the army split in three. Feanor with his host of 100000 and greatest host. He had the dwarves with him for they wished to fight side by side with the high king of Noldor. So with Feanor came Galdor and Fili.
With Fingolfin went his son Fingon and with Finarfin went Finrod and they took their own people.
The large host was split in 3 but the gap was not big. It was but a few metres. The plan was to make ready the seige weapons and use battering rams and brake the doors and raid the towers and swiftly slay all that were within it. The elves were clever. The Dwarves promised to defend them with their large shields while they broke the doors down. The dwarves were the mightiest in tight formations and defending their own. The battering ram would be hidden under the large round sheilds. The doors would be broken swiftly and a farly large host of archers with swords and spears in front and of course the mighty dwarves getting some action at last.

The Orcs heard the almighty sound of the March of Feanor and the wrath of the Eldar and some were afraid. But Bolgs voice stayed them and they prepared behind the black walls. The spearmen lined up in ranks 10 deep all facing their great barbed spears towards the main gates. Upon the wall were many archers hiding low beneath the parapet to avoid enemy fire. Upon the walls there were iron pots fixed to revolving hinges that were filled with fire and boiling oil and would be flung onto the enemies below.

Nazgul The Battle of Sudden Flame.

Suddenly Morgoth sent forth great rivers of flame that ran down swifter than balrogs from thangorodrim, and poured over all the plain; and the mountains of iron belched forth fires and many poisonous hues, and the fume of them stank upon the air, and was deadly. Thus Ard-Galen perished, and devoured its grasses.

The armies upon the field were washed away in a tide of fire and most fled with what force they could but the main host was given their roofless graves and their charred bones were all that remained. Hador golden head fell in the flames so did many of the men of dor-lomin. Fingolfins host was scattered and wrecked.

Fingon fell burnt and charred but his white helm was recoverd by an elf of his banner many grieved for him. But that was not all although Feanor had barely escaped the 3 hill forts of Bolg were felled and many Orcs perished but it did not matter for in front of that fire came Glaurung the golden, father of all dragons, in his full might: and in his train were balrogs, and behind them came the black armies of Orcs in multitudes such as the nolder had never before seen or imagined and there at their head riding a great fell beast was the dark captain Meadhros.

All about they slayed wherever there was resistance, all the forts around the pass of sirion were consumed and the pass was one. Meadhros launched the assault on tol sirion and then came Sauron with his armie from Utumno and tol-sirion was taken ans Sauron was lord of the tower. Eithel sirion held strong but could not last forever. Glaurung however came over Dorthronian in great flame and that land persihed and became black. And there came Ungoliant from the cracks and valleys with her swarms and broods and came down upon Doriath in such black terror that Melians girdle was broken and Menegroth was sacked. Thingol himself was slain and devoured by Ungoliant but by her fate Melian escaped east and fled with the remnants of her people to Gundaruin.

All that stood now was Eithel sirion and Himring on the Northern front with no more than 80,000 warriors to fight. The end of Beleriand seemed nigh.
