Long Lost Leaves

Aelfwine was surprised to see a dark woman, or girl; she couldn't really tell, standing in the doorway. She glanced at the others, they had taken no notice of her. Aelfwine walked over to her.
"Hi," she said. "You joining us, too?"

Hedrim who was feeling tired and saw no need to introduce himself for what seemed like the hundredths time just nodded his head to this new comer and mumbled something that sounded like "Hedrim valdaes lord of the north

[Mari]

Ellysa was slightly surprised that the woman and the man noticed her. "Ah, um, yes. It seems that I will.
My name is Ellysa..." She fell silent as she saw the gathered people starting to take notice of her. "Um, nice to meet you. Please, don't mind me and continue your conversation! I, uh, I didn't mean to interupt anything."
This is scary! But I saw myself here and I think I recognize some of the people present. I must have been right to come here! I'll just have to wait and see...

By now Ferrin has fallen asleap.


OOC:Think about it... Old hermit, who's been sleaping on rocks for sevral years, siting on a comfy seat, sitting through long boreing intrductions...

Hedrim nodded to Ferrin "I think he has the right idea lets us sleep and tommorow explain our plan to the new comer, with that hedrim stood his sword up next to the couch and closed his eyes.

[Acalewia]

"I'm Aelfwine and I believe Hedrim is right. We should get some rest. I'm sure Radagast won't mind one more visitor," she looked to the wizard. "Right?"

[Earniel]

Radagast laughed. "No, at this point one more visitor can't hurt. If this continues, though, I think we'll have a small army by the time we leavet! I never expected Gandalf had so many friends. But welcome to Rhosgobel, Ellysa. Come, we'll find you a place to sleep."

[Earniel]

After the hazardous task of finding everyone a spot to sleep, Radagast was faced in the morning with the equally difficult task of preparing breakfast for such a large group of visitors that had a very healthy appetite to boot.

A few days passed in which the group got acquainted better and the final preparations were made for their journey.

One morning all the horses were saddled and ready. Packs of food and supplies were secured on their backs. Rhosgobel, that soon would be empty and silent for a long while, was for now still was filled with activity.

At dawn, Radagast spoke for a long time with a number of birds, which he then sent east, to scout out the terrain, and confirm Ingwionis' description of the state of the eastern lands and folks.

But first Dol Guldur still lay between them and the journey east.

Radagast checked the saddle and gear of his horse, that Grimbeorn had been so kind to lend him, one last time.

"So," he said to the gathered group, "I trust everybody is ready to depart?"

[Mari]

Ellysa merely nodded in response. She wasn't sure what she was getting into, but then again she usually wasn't.

Nami settled her self more comfortablly into her stable. Her short sword at her side and her bow on her back she smiled. The mood of the group was light as they made ready to depart. Nami know this would all change as they entered the opposive atmosphere as dol guldur. But for the moment everyone appeared happy.
Nami moved her horse forward a bit and came to be stop next to Ellysa's.
"Chin up Ellysa!" Nami smiled, then laughed, "i never thought i'd be returning home so quickly!"

Hedrim stood with his sword out, spinning it around doing tricks with it and generally showing off. "Well I suppose its time we get going" Hedrim said cheerfully as he mounted his horse.

Ferrin walked up to Radagast and asked "Could I borrow a horse Radagast? I came down here on foot."

[Willow Oran]

"You may ride one of my mules," Haldis told Ferrin. She had left after that first night to make arrangements among her own people for her absence. She had returned only that morning, bringing with her several sturdy mules, all but two of which were burdened with the supplies she had promised to Radagast days before.

"Thank you" Replyed Ferrin "Being a hermit liveing in the mountians I don't keep any sort of animal"

[Nautipus]

"I, too, will need an animal." said Seratili, "I did not bring one, meself."

[Mari]

Ellysa looks at the smiling Nami and starts smiling herself. Turning she said: "Couldn't we double up somehow? I for one, am not very comfortable with having to ride by myself. Horses and I... well... I just don't really have much experience."

[Acalewia]

Aelfwine rolled her eyes at Hedrim's showing off. She edged her horse closer to Nami and Ellysa.
"Home? You live in Dol Guldur's shadow?" she asked. Upon hearing Ellysa's comment about horses, she smiled.
"You stick with this group, you'll learn to ride, Ellysa," Aelfwine surveyed the group she would be traveling with. "I fear we may be spending some time in the saddle,"

[The last sane person]

Carnehillion snorted and pushed past Hedrim's showmanship to groom and saddle his horse, also wondering how and why some of his quest mates were without horses.

Once saddle was in place and all his equipment was secured, he mounted up and stood with the group, swearing to himself; If we get attacked by raiders on this joureny, I am tossing Lord BlingBling to their mercy, and all of his tacky jewerly with him! Lets see if all of the slaves he took will come to his aid then. Gah, these silly Northern Lords... Can't accessorize worth a damn.

He also noted that the newest of his questmates was uncomfortable in riding alone, he grinned a bit. "If you wish, you may ride with me....Ellysa, was it? Bahar is more or less a gentle horse if not in battle; she can carry your weight easily as well as mine. Perhaps you'll then be more comfortable, and later capable of comanding your own horse?"

Be damned if we need a member bouncing along after us on foot... Oh well, if a dwarf can ride with an elf, she can ride with me. Carnehillion offered her a hand up if she wanted it.

[Mari]

Hesitantly Ellysa looked at the horse and the offered hand. That is one big horse... I really wish I could go on foot as I always do, but that would really hold up everyone. But if I tried to ride alone I'd fall off as soon as we would speed up. I might even get trampled! Ellysa made up her mind and took the offered hand.
"Thank you for your kind offer. It is perhaps better if someone more experienced rode on a horse in case something happens. Perhaps Seratili can use the horse I was supposed to ride?"
She turned to Aelfwine. "Thank you. Perhaps there will be some time for me to learn how to ride indeed."

[Acalewia]

Aelfwine smiled and inclined her head.
"I believe you will learn before we end this quest," she checked her quiver and bow. "Besides we may have extra horses before the end," she smiled, her eyes involentarily darting toward Hedrim.
