Y'know, mods and admins, I don't think you should stress over this - I'm definitely NOT a PC-type person of the "everyone's a winner!" type, but really, they were all so cool and unique, I don't think you need one "winner" at all!

Maybe group them in some categories - like best Tolkien-themed, most creative, funniest, prettiest, most tree-like, etc.

But whatever ... it's of course up to you!

The staff of Entmoot is pleased to announce the winner of the 2004 Build a Christmas Tree Contest.

We realize that it has taken some time to reach a decision, but it was a hard choice considering all the beautiful trees.

And the winner is: QueenAnnesLace for her lovely Tolkien themed entry. Congratulations!!!

You will be given a custom title and will moderate for a day, the forum of your choice.

Other finalists were: ethuliel and Embladyne, jerseydevil and Tessar. Congratulations to all of you.

We would like to thank everyone for their participation and efforts. We know the trees were not easy to make.

It was an enjoyable contest and we look forward to perhaps doing it again this year.

In the spirit of Christmas, Tolkien and Entmoot, again, congratulations to our winner QAL. Enjoy your day of moderating, and may God have mercy on your soul, especially if you pick GMs.
