Hahah, funny you should pick 2012. It is the last year in the ancient Maya calendar. (Amazing, really, how they made calendars so far in the future.) And many people think the calendar ends because 2012 will be when the world ends. I've seen one or two books with that as a plot.

I'm into it 8 months as well. I haven't felt like this ever before. But 1 more month or so and it should be okay, or getting better at least. From what I've heard, there will be more to endure after it's over, but it won't be nearly as bad.

I keep my energy up with all sorts of vitamins, but it usually isn't enough. Some dayys are alright and other days I would rather not do anything and don't get me started with the weather!

I'm sorry I haven't been around for a few months. Everyday is more complicated than the lastt. Learning how to breathe right, learning how to keep calm, and learning how to not panic are going to be things I need sometime ahead of me. "Ingwe" has been a lot of help though. I couldn't have hoped to get this far without him.

I'm going to read through all of LLL II so I can catch up, I hope. Knowing my luck, we'll be half way towards the eastern sea before I get a chance to write again. I'll at least try to write something short, so that I can reply to Midge. I will take a look through the latestt writings and come up with something.

Thank you. My sister is quite busy, so she's not been able to see this place for a long time I think. This "reunion" will be quite prolific should she return as well. Perhaps 'eccentric' would be the best word to describe it, in my sister's case.

I was at the Oslo Book Fair over the week-end - did my service at the stall of The Norwegian Non-Fiction Writers and Translators Association. Took more time than I had expected.

I'll write something right now, though - and then I can expect some interchange, which makes it easier ...

Yes, I also hope it's done next year as well. It's not decided yet.
They used to do those fairs for several years a while back, but twelve years ago they stopped. So this year has been trying it out again. I don't know yet whether they see it as a success or not.
