Frodosgirlriend, I am SOOOO sorry for you! Thankfully, I wouldn't know the tune of an Avril Lavigne song if it disemboweled me, but if she's getting stuck in anyone's head it's, it's, I dunno it's just awful. And they call her punk! sputter sputter Every time a magazine article calls her punk Sid Vicious rolls over in his grave.

that's tough. And of course now it's in my head. but it isn't your fault. that must be the worst song in the history of bad songs because (a) it's avril lavigne (b) it's not punk and (c) it is the most catchy song ever created. I can't count how many times it's been in my head all day long. and i agree. she isn't nearly punk. She is like, the Anti-punk.

Bad punk might be bland and colorless, good punk is exciting and has a hard driving rhythm that makes you want to move, like the Ramones, Clash, Buzzcocks, some of the Sex Pistols, Iggy and the Stooges.

I guess a lot of people probably think that punk is bland and colourless but i like it anyway. a lot of people probably say they have no talent either, but...that's not the point. ok suddenly i just felt incredibly unqualified to talk about punk so i'll stop now. i think pop is bland.
