Gordis -Yes, VERY much so, but just wait & see what unfolds with that as a little more time goes by! Can't give anything away, but... it'll be good.

That was a wonderful last post, too, Gordis. Another scene I could visualise, and sense. I loved the bit about her thinking she was seeing Annatar, and how those two have some real history that they share. Excellent reading. Her irritation and fear were palpable, and his ring acting like that; all of it. Nice!

Rian - nice post! So, Valandil's paying Rian a visit? Nice!

thanks - I love writing about horses. For some reason, one of the things I remember is getting off a horse after riding bareback, and how your legs go from warm on the horse to feeling suddenly cool when you're off, because of the horse's sweat cooling on them. And I remember when they're spooked, their nostrils really flare out, and you can see the deep red inside. Weird what I remember!

Val is just innocently walking into his Commerce class. I've started it going. Care to take it up, Val?

Yes, I totally know what you're talking about, with all those little horse details. It's been some time since I myself have been around horses - man, oh MAN do I miss riding! - but it's a pleasure to read what both you & Shah write when you wax eloquent on the equestrian-talk. I miss riding so much.

It's not really a big deal - it's how you say someone is going to "follow" a class. We would say "take" a class, like "what classes are you taking this semester?"

To a certain degree...though that did give me a chuckle to imagine it. I'da felt bad for Annatar, poor bloke would never know what hit him if he did court her...(more than likely a mace)

That's why Annatar chased after Galadriel, not after Mahtaliel.

Annatar didn't chase after anyone... specifically. It was Celebrimbor who chased after Galadriel.

I think if I did go with that idea it would turn out more squicky than silly... If there were a disgusted face I'd be putting it here.

Well Celebrimbor certainly did, that is how she got her Ring in the first place.
But as for Sau, this passage seems to imply ...something between them:

I don't think any of the Mirdain had reasons to dislike Annatar before he betrayed them. Many an Elf-maid must have looked at him with approval. A Maia is always a good catch!
