I feel the same about OMD. Had a sudden retro urge and got the "Best of" album.

All together now.... "Enola Gay, should have stayed at home yesterday...."

Currently, the TATU video of "All The Things She Said" keeps sticking in my mind, for some reason!

For some reason, "What do you do with a drunken sailor" has been stuck in my head all day. . .finally got it out by singing mangled versions of Irish drinking songs very loudly.

And now it's "Hawthorn, Whitethorn, Rowan and Rose/How to find them, just follow your nose/ashwood and garlic and silver and sun. . ."
I'm not obsessed with vampires. Really. Honest. *looks around nervously*

Although with me, the vast majority of any given year is devoted to The Beatles or John Lennon, whom I consider the most intelligent creators of rock n' roll ever; I dunno, I just feel SMART while singing along. As an antidote, though, to cleanse my musical pallet for more Beatles later, I've been on a total KISS kick. Consequently, at any given moment of the day right now I've got some KISS song or other stuck in my head. Worst of all, lately it's been "Cold Gin." "It's cold gin time again! You know I always win!" "She's well aquainted with the touch of the velvet hand like a lizard on a windowpane" it ain't.

Well, a song that is always stuck in my head is one my family made up together. *sing with southern colony croon*

"Put your hand in the fan and you will lose a fiiiiiinnngggerrrrr
Put you foot in the fan and you will lose a tooooeeeee
You put your face in the fan and you will look at others diff'r'ntly
You put your body in the fan and you'll have a new anatomy"

*anatomy is "aminamally"*

I love anonymity, and I love being noticed,
Just the same as anybody else
Years ago I told you how I love to be alone, but
These days I'd be perjuring myself

Ballad of SanFrancisco

and:
Can’t believe that I did it again
Wake me up from this nightmare
‘Cause this monster is wasting me away and taking my days

Everyday I live a bit less; one night leads to another
Even if I went back would they recognize me or criticize me

Who are you that lies when you stare in my face
Telling me that I’m just a trace of the person I once was
Cause I just can't tell if you're telling the truth or a lie
On you I just can't rely. after all you're just a piece of glass

Still I control this nightmare, when I call it answers
But I can't tell it when to come or when to stay

Who are you that lies when you stare in my face
Telling me that I’m just a trace of the person I once was
Cause I just can't tell if you're telling the truth or a lie
On you I just can't rely. after all you're just a piece of glass

Don’t talk, listen
Hold me tighter
Stay with me just for a while
Until the sun shines stay with me
Just give me one more day

Who are you that lies when you stare in my face
Telling me that I’m just a trace of the person I once was
Cause we're not the same, you're just a picture of me
You’re gone as soon as I leave; you've lived my life for me
And you're no more than a piece of glass

Piece of Glass

Both by Caedmon's Call

I was just listening to TTT sound track and I've got The Riders of Rohan song stuck in my head. I've also got Shania Twains Up song stuck in my head. It seems I can never only have one song stuck in my head. Its either 2 songs or none.

Montell Jordan ft LL Cool J: Get it on tonite

And it seems that I'm going through a reminisicing period, in which Bobby Brown, 112 and Micheal Jakson are playing a very heavy part. And Nickelback, who for some reason, I like a lot, despite it not being my type of music.

crickhollow,
I met them once in the Colonies, they are really nice people. Of course this was right before they got big, and I was visiting my parents.

I like their instrumentals the best, but I love the Hand Song, and the Lighthouse's Tale.
