He was the father of Eorl the Young. He was killed by Felarof, first of the Mearas.

Yep, it's my first time here, Val. I just happened to have my reference material close at hand though...I don't usually.

I suppose you want me to ask the next question now...

Well, as I said, since I happen to have my reference material right here ---

What is the significance of Galbasi?

Ah... you had to look it up! That's OK... we pretty much all started doing that for THIS thread. What's amazing is how after playing this game for awhile, you DON'T NEED TO look things up anymore.

Uh... having said all that, I must now admit I don't know what 'Galbasi' is. Nor do I have MY reference materials handy.

A hint would be: it's more a "who" than a "what"... but not exactly...

Suilad,

Okay, correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't 'Galbasi' referring to the 'Hobbit' last name 'Gamgee', as in 'Samwise Gamgee', 'Banazîr Galbasi'. Well, okay. Gotta go, bye!

Hmmm... Nimbrennil is relatively new here - and must not realize how much I pester those who stall this thread.

*sigh*

Well - let's just keep it moving:

Question:

Who dwelt for a time in Lindon south of the River Lhun?

Celeborn dwelt in Lindon, south of the Lune - I'm not sure if Galadriel was with him but I think she was.

Yes - it is mentioned in the appendices.

I am one of the golden-haired children!! (Elanor the Fair!!) but there were others. You don't need the names - just how many children were born with golden hair.
