McDonald's has puny hamburgers! I have to have two to be just some-what satisfied! Their onions are chopped into molecules, and their chicken nuggets are soggy (with water, not oil ). I haven't gone there in ages, thank goodness!

i feel like a drink, seeing as how my last exams were thursday, and i have spent today at ye olde tavernery (the pub) and i am finally in a better than terrible mood (although i may have forgotten happiness altogether, as the buddha said "life is to endure suffering"), scars everywhere, still broke, and still single, and still technically mentally unstable, although my psychiatrist said i have made substantial progress from the last time i saw her, so that is good, well, life is going on at an inmeasurably fast pace, seems like only a month ago that i joined, and here i am, a year and a half, one massive operation and a failed suicide later

I like how they put Thousand Island dressing on them (or whatever dressing it is) and their milkshakes are totally awesome! *drools*

Today we bought a male parakeet. His name is George and his cage costed more than he did; then again, the cage came with a lot of stuff.
We didn't buy him just to entertain our cat. *cough* *cough* Well, that one reason. He's rather quiet. Supposedly parakeets do that in the wild so that predators don't hear him.

Oh my, you mean you couldn't sit still for the whole 2:28.75 long race?

Afleet Alex (winner of the Belmont and Preakness) is a home-town hero where I live. He's from Philly and owned by 5 people (or couples). He has a not-so-famous never-worked-with-famous-horses/big-races jockey and trainer, that is until now! This guy also trains at Delaware Park, the track near me. I should go visit sometime . Anyway, he ran an amazing race in the Preakness-- another horse, Scrappy T (also from DE Park coincidently) veered into Alex at the top of the last stretch. They clipped heels and Alex went down on his knees . It was all jockey Jeremy Rose could do to keep from flying off--he was just holding onto his mane. Alex didn't fall completely though and got back up, winning the race with a 5 length lead.

You can see a video of the near disaster at http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/7928696/ (right side of the page.)

Hehe, sounds like a...nice trip. The toads probably just wanted to welcome you. And say 'good day'. And 'good night'. And sing a few lullabys. And say 'good morning'. Sleep is for sissies, anyway.

"Oh, yeah!" EB wittingly zings back. "Well, errr, breathing is for sissies too, and bet you're doing that!"

Is eating for sissies? I'm a big sissy, then!

My parakeet finally made noise! (Despite the fact the cat was meowing and trying to get to the high up cage... which was all in vain.)
