Sorry to hear that Eärniel - I hope Jinx gets better soon!

Sometimes I let it bug me that always when I talk to mum, "we" never talk about anything else than what has happened to her, every small unimportant thing. And when I try to tell her something nice that has happened to me, it's as if she isn't listening.
I don't know why I let it bother me - but I guess if it didn't, I wouldn't talk to her. Fortunately I have friends to share my life with.

It's going to be a long two days. Kidney failure is one of the things I considered myself, along with feline diabetes. The vet seemed more concerned about his eye, though, which could turn out to be untreatable.

So, I'm sort of frustrated right now with the whole situation about my voice teacher.

Apparently I didn't get any of the voice teachers I wanted. Apparently my old voice teacher suggested another teacher for me, who she had NEVER mentioned to me when I asked for her input. And she knew very, very well who I was wanting to go with. So that makes me very angry.

But supposedly this guy I'm going to go with is -amazing- for male voices. Like some of his students have done really well at Met. auditions and stuff.

But on the other hand, it sounds like he's planning to leave after this next semester, which if that's the case I am NOT happy about it. In fact, I'll be extremely pissed off if he is. Nothing says, "I don't really care about you," like assigning a student to one teacher for a year, then another teacher for one semester, then probably having no idea where they'll be after that. You CANNOT get to know a teacher well enough in one semester to make the best possible progress. It takes time to get used to them.
