Yeah, and there's nothing anyone can do. Where did the local Mexican'ts get it? The MexiCANS are cool, but MexiCAN'Ts are not. It's a very American way of life, that's spreading through globalization.
I'm glad someone sees it from my point of view.

I kinda have to see it every which way.
You see, I am mixed. My dad came from the big city of Philly, PA and he's black. (but not ghetto.)
My mom is white and deaf.
So it is easy to relate to people in different situations.

I like "MexiCANS" but sometimes it gets annoying when you can't understand a word they say because they speak their other language just to leave you out of the conversation.

TB, I'm sorry that a certain group of people terrorize your neighborhood, but really, don't judge an entire culture by one group of idiots.

Thanks for saying this, Farimir. It needed to be said. That being said, I'd like to mention here that my heart, my sister and my best friend in this world is Mexican. Mexican-Sicilian, to be precise. She'd go apesh** if she heard these mexican/mexican't comments. It is very unfair and unkind, people, to stereotype like that. Just sayin'.

We are not being racist. It is a slang discription. The blacks use it towards themselves and the white who tend to act that way.

I have Mexican friends as well. I was just using Bane's term. I am not racist, nor do i wish to offend anyone. I am sure Bane didn't mean anything by it either.

May I point out it was a Catholic private school. It was only when I was in 5th grade. My 4th grade teacher was every kids nightmare.

I don't see it that way at all! Hence my distinction between MexiCANS who are cool, wonderful, nice people, that are far nicer than most whites and are at the very least respectful to you; and MexiCAN'Ts, who are the ones I complain about. And ghettoness is not limited to one race but many. And besides, why are whites generalized as whites, ESPECIALLY among themselves! Look on a scantron, it has almost every version of every major race you can think of, but white is listed as "White, Not Of Hispanic Origin." What happened to Italians? Norwegians? French? Irish? I read an essay once (by someone who, like me, was NOT racist but had some pretty strong views about how wrong modern life is run) who said exactly that. I am by no means racist in even the slightest sense, hence that distinction. I just feel oppressed, and it's getting to the breaking point! But the way society is, if I called these particular "gangsta's" I'm referring to, I'd be laughed at or ignored, or worse called racist and get even more oppressed, while if I was in their shoes, they would call on me and I'd be arrested immediately and locked away for life, for being racist.

It's kinda ironic how the more I say I'm not racist, the more it appears so.
