I was disapointed because I set my hopes way to high, even though I knew that Saruman, the Scouring of the Shire, and the Houses of Healing would not be in there.

No problem, Orli. I don't blame you for getting a pirated copy. I would do the same.

Nah, I think JD rated it right when it came out. It was more likely someone who just wanted to be the one person who gave it that rating, since no one else had.

5/5 - I may complain about parts of it, but I still loved it.

As people said - I already voted. I think I gave it 3/5 maybe 2/5 - can't remember at the moment. My comment regarding it is on the first page I think.

And I'm not conservative necessarily in cinema or politics - just a free thinker. In politics I lean more libertarian than conservative. In cinema I go for films I like.

Lord of the Rings did not match up to the comments Jackson made before the movie came out. He should have followed through with his comments instead of giving them lip service for me to have accepted them.

If you want to see my wide range of films I like you can see most of my collection at DVD Listing I think I have a well rounded movie collection.

Edit - just checked - I'm sixth poster on page 1. I gave it a 3/5. Not a bad score considering how much I hate it - but I hate it as an adaptation and for Jackson's lies more than as a movie.

I'm going to release this one, now, since I think we've all had a chance to vote. And the final result is:

LotR:RotK is AWESOME!
