ic: Alex leaned against the wall, waiting for her shift to be over. Finally, 7:30! She tought after looking at the clock. She took off her apron and waved bye to her boss, letting him know she was leaving. The night was cool and dark. AJ whistled as she walked down the forested trail. Suddenly she stopped. The tune she was whistleing was not a familiar one. Soon she found herself singing the words she had never heard before. The day has passed beyond our power. The petals close upon the flower. The light is failing in this hour Of days last warning breath. The blackness of the night surrounds The distant souls of stars now found, Far from this world to which we're bound, Of sorrow fear and death. Sleep, love; forever sleep. But where will you stay? What will you do?" Rob listened patiently as his mom carried on the usual maternal rantings. When she was finished, he showed her a phamplet about the program. She read over it carefully, checking every last detail. "Says here you'll be staying in Nevada," She said after a while, "With a family checked out by the school." She sighed, "All right, I guess you can go. When do you leave?" "The plane files out in three days," Rob said excitedly, "Does this mean I can really go!" "Yes, I guess you can. But you MUST write me once a week and call when you can," His mom said, but Rob didn't hear, as he was already running upstairs to pack his things.

Alex was at her front stop when the song finished. That was really wierd.... She shrugged and opened the door. "Mom! I got a letter today at school. It was from dad." Her mom came into the hallway. "Really? What did it say?" Alex paused and smiled, "He wants me to go visit him. In.....Nevada." After a long pause, her mother sighed and nodded her head. "Alright, you can go. You havent seen him in a long while and...." her mom began mubleing to herself and ALex went upstairs to get packed.

Roya was restless. The kids here had indeed felt things that were odd but were taking it as though it was nothing, even though it sure as hell wasnt. 'Nothing' didnt inspire Roya out of the blue to leave her job and fly to Nevada and come and knock on a complete strangers door and further more recognize them.

You might not have heard it yet, but i am sure you will." They looked at her strangely. "How else would i have known to come and knock on this door? How else would i have been able to know your names?" Roya was having a bit of trouble speaking with the grils. For she was never really taught how to socialize, always alone and fending for herself, she never really had the chance to learn. she sighed. "I dont know, but i think that there is more inside all of us than we know."

Roya was some how drawn to the new, pale girl who had come in not that long ago. Something about her eyes Roya felt drawn to.
