Mirahzi is so close but has been missing for so long that the game will fall off the page soon, so I will step in and say that the missing words are "fame" and "foresight".
And just so the thread doesn't become exclusively Unfinished Tales, here's one that is not UT: C_m_/h_t_e_/,/M_n_b_n_/,/a_d/_e_/a/_e_/n_m_/! /F_l_r_f/_/n_m_/y_u/./_o_/l_v_d/_o_r/_r_e_o_/, /a_d/_/d_/n_t/_l_m_/y_u/_o_/t_a_/./ B_t/_o_/y_u/_w_/m_/a/_r_a_/w_r_g_l_/,/ a_d/_o_/s_a_l/_u_r_n_e_/y_u_/f_e_d_m/ _o/_e/_n_i_/y_u_/l_f_'s/_n_.

Thanks, Diamond of Long Cleeve I was about to give the last words myself and let anyone who wished post a new quote, but you doing it was much better.
Now your quote is: "Come hither, M_n_b_n_, and get a new name! F_l_r_f I name you. You loved your freedom, and I do not blame you for that. But now you owe me a great weregild, and you shall surrender your freedom to me until your life's end." It's Eorl to the horse that killed his father. I can't remember the name of the horse though.

Man Alive! You are excellent at this game Artanis. I salute you.
Of course you are correct and just need the names of Eorl's horse.

Thanks. I do quite well with the words, but usually not with the speakers. But this quote I remembered well because of the greatness Eorl showed, at age 16, by not killing the horse that caused his father's death.

I'm pretty sure it's that model dysfunctional couple speaking, Aldarion and Erendis (A speaking to E), and I thought the word might be "livelihood", but it's one space off...

That's why I almost hate to win sometimes, because it's so darn hard to type in the quote right! I usually end up editing 2 or 3 times...
"T_e_/w_u_d/_u_/p_t_s/_e/_u_d_r_d/_o_e_e_/; b_t/_l_/t_y/_e_i_s/_/w_l_/t_k_/o_/m_s_l_/a_s_/."

Yeah, me too. D'OH. Still, well done on getting the speaker. I had no idea.
Which is spooky, really, coz I havnae got the proverbial Scooby who said this: "Then would our paths be sundered forever; but all thy perils I will take on myself also. But I'll guess at Finrod of Nargothrond, just because I like him... |
