We rode back to The Wise, and when we got there, we found many other creatures we had not seen before. "Well, I se many more have come. ALlow me to introduce myself. I am Artuile, book keeper and historian of Imladris, bearer of Cemina." I said.

The cover of the last paperback volume flipped closed, ending the final page of the appendices in the conclusion of the Lord of the Rings.
Fëalómë's hand traced a shaky circle around the three books, which were now at last at the end of her reading together on the floor where they had fallen as she slowly fell further and further away from herself into the words. What did it mean? The stranger couldn't have meant that her ring was the One Ring, or anything to do with it? But no. Middle-earth was fiction.
Was it?
Fëalómë stood, catching her balance, and walked to the door. The streets were empty save for the lamplights high above them, and the early morning was silent. She had read through the night and into the next day. Somehow this made her feel all the more lonely; ever more alone.
The word came unbidden to her mind; eressëa.
The fear that struck Fëalómë as she realized that she was thinking in the Valinorean tongue brought her to her knees in a flight of panic. What is this? her mind cried, struggling to regain control of itself. What is this Ring, this story? What -- no, who -- am I?
Where do I fit in?
Nalyë Eressëa, her heart whispered. You are alone. You are lonely.
No, she pleaded again to herself, no, I'm not alone. There's me and the metal . . . and the soul of it in this Ring . . . my precious . . .
With a shriek Fëalómë collasped the rest of the way to the ground, and lay in an unconsciously sobbing heap for the rest of the morning.
Fëalómë's Rings and Jewelry, Closed, read the sign.
The ring hung around her almost hummed; in anticipation, or excitement, or power, could not be told.
****

Heehee! I'm back! Did you miss Fëalómë and I? And Laurelyn Walsh, who I've taken command of since Mistabella brought her here (she is me, afterall). She'll be back soon.
My how this thread grew; but what is given wings will take flight. Having fun?

"Mista!" Laurelyn called into the crowd. "Mista?"
Mist, echoed her voice, hisÃ*ë.
She could not see suddenly; it was too blurry, and she wavered a moment and stood still.
"Laurelyn!" called her friend's voice in reply, and Laurelyn turned about in hopeless cirlcles. Where did everybody go? She could feel the people in the blurry white darkness . . . like a mist, she thought idly, like a spell-mist or the like that came down on wings swifter than any of us expected.
Any of who?
Any of us. . . beings, she reminded herself. Tolkienites in true glory.
What's a Tolkienite? whispered her mind.
A Tolkien fan.
Who?
Her thoughts were wavy and whitish and blurry like her vision.
Tolkien . . . the author of . . . of . . . .
And Laurelyn couldn't remember.
***
And when her vision cleared she saw something different. In the open field there was still a jumbled crowd of the different peoples, but none of them knew the origins they had known less than an hour ago. Those memories were gone; the memory of the world and of Tolkien were faded, and each and every Dwarf, Halfling, Elf, or Man were no longer fans of the beginnings of epic fantasy.
All they remembered was Middle-Earth history, and all they saw were people they did not know.
But the feel of an army was still about them. They had all been summoned from their dwellings, their homes, and they had answered.
A horn blew suddenly to Laurelyn's left; she whipped her head around to see whose it was. A man in a crimson cloak sat upon a dark brown horse, with gilded gear and a shining horn. He blew this for a second time.
The silence was very complete.

Fëalómë could not bear to open the shop that day.
She twisted wires into a large circle until her fingers were a bloody mess from the sharp edges, and set it with dark grey stones and hematite shapes. It wasn't 'til she finished attacking her work that she realized she had made a sterling silver crown, with wires and stones every which way looking too much like bolts of lightning. With a cry she flung the crown at the wall, and listened as it struck the plaster and clattered to the floor.
The wall was marked black where the wires had scraped it, and Fëalómë shivered. Standing, she walked to the crown as it lay upon the ground, and picked it up to see what damage its flight had done.
Nothing. Not a stone was out of place, not a wire bent to an unsightly position.
Tears came to her eyes for a moment. No, she pleaded, please? But it's supposed to be the Ring that's indestructible. I don't understand . . . .
Fëalómë looked again at the crown she had made. She walked almost unwillingly to the mirror. She thought for a moment that she didn't want this at all. And then she set the silver crown upon her head.

Primrose winced when the young hobbit called Belladona "Franny." She had never heard anyone DARE to do that before.

<Do you mean for both of us to go?> Cyrell asked quietly. He knew Primrose had to go, but would the others try to separate him from his beloved companion? If they did ... he was ready to fight!

I smiled at all the commotion going on around me. I opened Utuvielye Cemina, the book that came with Cemina. I wrote:Year 25 of the Fourth Age: set down by Gandalf when he departed this world. Following is the account of the Lady of the Rings, put down by Artuile:
