Hey, wait, I think I'm getting the hang of trollish/goblin/orcish:
"9 rangs 4 d Lf kangs ndr d sky 7 4 d dwrf lds n thr hls uf stoan 9 4 mortul min dumd 2 dy 1 4 d dok lurd awn hz dok thrown N d Lan uf Moredoor whur d shadoz ly 1 Rang 2 Rul dim awl 1 rang 2 gyd dim 1 Rang 2 barng thm awl n n d darkniz bnd thm N d Lan uf Moredoor whur d shadoz ly" Now for Samuel Coleridge Taylor: "Thr wuz n nchnt marriner n he stpoth 1 uf 3" "Wif mi x-bo i shat d LBtros" And Melville: "Cal mi Ishmale" "...rownd d hurn n thru perdishinz flamez b 4 I gv hm up...." And Chaucer in the Middle English: "Whan that Aprille wyth her shouers suoote [Dang! These posters were talking Middle English! LOL!!!!!!! Chaucer scholars!!!] Guys, of course you're welcome to post any way you like....and welcome to the Moot.....but geez, proper English makes an argument SOOOO much more credible.....

A moral of the whole (after the primary symbolism of the Ring, as the will to mere power, seeking to make itself objective by physical force and mechanism, and so also inevitably by lies) is the obvious one that without the high and noble the simple and vulgar is utterly mean; and without the simple and ordinary the noble and heroic is meaningless." aw come on bropous, it wasn't THAT bad! (referring to bropous's 2nd post on the subject)...although i used to be guilty of typing like that. now, however, i merely type in mostly lower-case and then there's the occasional typographical error/spelling mistake.

am still outraged by disgraceful errors on the box but am really happy with the mug!it has this big green patch on the side and when you fill the mug with hot liquid it slowly fades to reveal the ring!its very cool.in a geeky kinda way.

I went to the really scary Easter isle at the drugstore, and I looked through all the Cadbury stuff, and I couldn't find any LotR eggs, or anything else! I wonder why. . .

I wished I had joined this thread earlier, then maybe I could have some smarties too! *sighs*
South African Smarties are just like Canadian Smarties, and are really good. When my Grandma lived there she sent me some once. Yum! On the side of the box they read, "Wotalotigot!" Really cute.

Awww, galadriel 88, I feel so sorry for you. This thread is indeed a chocolate-guzzlers' delight.
Do Not Worry. I am off chocolate for Lent so you can have these spare ones that I picked up while flirting with Mr. Smarties. He is v. generous and wants to share his wealth with all. Even me. (I love that guy!) ()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()() Sorry they are only purple, but I really like that colour and I couldn't be bothered to pick up any more Smarties. (They are v. heavy!)
