You aren't missing much. I've had one 'serious' relationship (we actually went out places), and he broke my heart right before my birthday. Eh.

If you can't find a guy to go with, go stag, or with a lot of your girl friends.

I know prom is overrated, but I can't wait to go!

This year was my only chance to go to prom, seeing as it was both my junior and senior years. I stayed home and played 007 with my younger brothers.

As for ears... you could actually respect what middle earth was like and go without.

Never said it was them darn Middle-Earth Elves...only the New Zealand ones.

And even if they DO have 'normal' ears, they could still be pointed. I know a kid at my school who looks like Spock, eyebrows, ears and all.

oh, i haven't gone to prom yet...i don't go till senior year, and that is still some ways off. i'm just finishing up 10th grade now. but EG has pics...which she refuses to get developed because she doesn't want to show them to anyone. I may have to steal the camera....

Let's everyone bug her, just like she bugged me about the sword pics, eh?

Okay I know no one's been posting here for a reeeeealy long time, but I found I website that has tons of stuff on LotR costumes, makeup, hair, etc. AND... it has directions to make elf ears! They use foamed gelatin, not latex, and I thought it was really interesting! Here's the link: Home Page and for the EARS .
