There is nothing that makes me quite so happy as getting to see videos on youtube of my favorite singers singing in a completely unedited environment. Opera, folk, pop... whatever... It's amazing because on the one hand it isn't ever as "pretty" as the studio versions, but the connection to the music is SO much more powerful, at least for me.

I'm happy because my grandmothers sister will be okay. We got a call yesterday that she was being operated on an anorism or something, which was off course quite a shock on New Years Eve. Later that evening we got another call that the operation went fine, but we didn't get a call until a little while ago that she was going to be fine and is probably even able to go to South-Africa coming March as scheduled.
Yay! We are all so relieved!!!

I got a Christmas present for kitty today and he likes it.

He's going crazy over it in fact! It's a little mouse thing with fuzzy hands and feet on a bouncy string. He's been playing with it for the last hour, haha.

I got some more stuff myself too, like a cookbook so I can make lots of food! And some pants that don't make my ass look saggy like my old ones did. :/

I'm also super excited because tonight my mom sang pretty well, with some signs of improvement...

AND MY MUSIC CAME IN THE MAIL!!!! YEEEE!!!! I have a Moya Brennan irish christmas CD, Luka Bloom's 'Before Sleep Comes', and then an Eva Cassedy CD and a Kate Wolf cd. Mah Christmas is complete.

I just won an auction for both the LoTR and the Hobbit CD sets!!!!!!!!! The radio broadcast... not the british one, I think it's the American version. I forget who did it... but it was a MAJOR part of my childhood, listening to our cassette tape versions for the LoTR, although I've never gotten to hear the Hobbit.

It's not the most faithful reading, and some dramatic liberties have been taken, but I LOVE it. I am SUPER excited! I won it for $25, which includes S&H, and both sets come in the wooden boxes that they were packaged with!

I am so so so HAPPY because I am sippin' on a creme brulee latte that I made myself with my brand new top of the line Coffee Station, Cappuccino machine, Espresso Maker, and a 12 cup coffee pot all in one unit. With fresh ground beans, creme brulee flavored, using my also brand new top of the line Cuisanart Coffee grinder. Someone was really good to me this year! hm hmm.

We got drinking glasses too! and a matching caraffe. it makes juice fun now! Most of the things I got were for the kitchen and Im glad because I will use them a lot. :yay

Well its simple really. I went sledding, they got wet, I had to change into my p.j.'s, and now they are M.I.A.

Oh yeah it was a little bit chilly...
Had to walk a mile or so in them all soaking wet and freezing myself to death. But it was well worth it, I still had a great time out there.

Happy because after almost 3 months with an injured foot, I'm almost walking normally!!!!

I found a physical therapist that knows what he's doing, and although he brings me to tears while he's working on me, after he's done it's definitely better every time. I think I"ll be able to walk normally on my bday next week!!!!!! And to think they were going to do a spinal block!!!
