I haven't seen this one but I've heard that somewhere by Buckleberry Ferry Merry's foot falls off.

And I know it's not a blooper techinically, but in FotR, an orc shoves/throws his shield at Aragorn at some point and it pins him to a tree. The face he makes is ridiculous. If it weren't for the music and the context I'd think it was supposed to be funny. IMO that should definately have been reshot.

Wow. Five pages and no one mentioned this one. It's the most obvious one too, IMO.

In TTT when the Rohirim ambush the Uruks you see a horse getting ready to crush Pippen and he puts his hands up, but they aren't tied. It switches over to Legolas who says his line 'A red sun rises. Blood has been spilt this night.' When they go back to Pippen he rolls over and his hands are tied up again. How could no one see that?

in RotK, has anyone noticed that when the two orcs in Cirith Ungol fight over Frodos mithril shirt, one of the actors wigs falls off! But the next shot, it's back on again.

From TTT:

After Legolas shoots two arrows into the shoulder region of the Uruk-Hai running with the torch, the arrows are nowhere to be seen in the shot that shows the Uruk diving into the drain on the side of the wall of Helms Deep.

When Aragorn is lying on the river's shore, he climbs onto an unsaddled horse. But, when he sees the Orc Army and starts to gallop towards Helms Deep, he is riding with a saddle.

has anyone else noticed (sorry if someones already said this) that in FOTR when Aragorn runs over to where Boromir is lying one of the 'dead' orcs looks up 'cause he thinks he's out of the camera shot?

does anyone notice that Frodo wears his mithril shirt in Moria obviously, but does anyone see him take this off before he gets to Cirith Ungol, because Shelob managed to hurt him badly.

I thought she poisoned him with her sting, somewhere at the base of his neck. His mithril shirt wouldn't've given much protection then. Moreover I don't think Shelob does much damage by way of cuts, does she?

Yeah, and as the mithril mail was no dout a bit to big for him (It was ether crafted for an elf or a dwarf) it wouldn't help as much near the shoulders (being a big to big)... At least that's what I think.

it was made for an elven prince. and yeah, in the book it was the stomach, shoulder in film, and it didn't make much sense.
