Akkar and Devak joined up with Pansy and the other Haradrim outside.

"Okay everyone, let's get going. There's still enough daylight left to make good time," said Akkar. He took off his pack and attached it behind his saddle. Then he mounted and started down the road with his friends. He took one last look over his shoulder to make sure everyone was there.

OOC: Yes the microwave is back...I missed it. Amea you didn't do anything....it just seems like your trying to still my idea..and I have so few...that are good anyway. *laughs at self* Long stories there...embarresing too, not going into them. Aewionen I'm going to come up behind you so that you actually have somthing to be parniod about.

IC:
Coming threw the trees with a nice swoop, Callinya was enjoying herself and didn't notice the twig she was about to crash into...SNAP! Wobblying to the ground she turned into a human and rubbed her head "Ouch...you know I've really got to watch out for branches." Just as she said that a sword was pionted to her throat and a voice said "Are you with the group setting forth from the inn?" Callinya kept her head down and answered "Yes. What's it to you?" "I have warning for you. Where are the others?" The stranger asked with a hint of panick in his voice. At that Callinya looked up and said "What has happened at home?" The man explained and a look of horror grew over Callinya's face and she said "Forgive my rudness, but I must see if what you say is true with my own eyes. When the others arrive....tell the two brothers 'Callinya flies with the wind.' They will know what I mean and know to trust what you say. If it turns out you have lied to me I will come back and kill you myself." With that she was off flying toward Harad with all her might.

OOC: Sorry for controling your character. I'm not posting anything on Harad until Aewionen posts what it is that's soooo important. I want to know waht it is.

OOC: Okay, what about this for a comprimise: Amea's character knows who the enemy is and now they fight, but she doesn't have any current information on their battle plans, or the state of the city etc. That's what Fim's character learns for us, as well as their current numbers, attitudes, etc. (whatever else your character discovers as a shapeshifter). It makes sense that a shapeshifter would be able to learn more. What do you think guys, does that sound fair?

occ: im cutting in. its my thread so im sorry lol. Ignor me if you want .

Elves are curous thing, and that off Celian Malede is of no exception. Whilst staying in the lower Rohan regions he heard news of group traveling to the Harad. Henceforth he sent out a letter to 'fellowship' bearing the follwing:

To those it may concern of the traveling Harad group. It has come to my attention that things in the east are unsettled. And it would be my wish to take upon this journey also. It is too my request that one of your wonders meet me in Dun Harrow on the 12th Nite of the seventh month, in order to make 'plans'. I await your responce

occ: i can change it if it ruins the flow, just say .

Hi Val, well that was somewhat random. Are you saying you want to play? I'm sure you can, though it's really up to Twista.

*puts on the bossy pants*

We have to decide where in Middle-earth we are! This is crucial to an RPG! If we are in Ithilien, I volunteer one or more of my characters to go meet Twista's character. If we are not, where are we? We are long overdue for deciding.

Maybe a little of both... Is this game set in time yet? Might it be say 100 +/- years into the Fourth Age? Is it still in the reign of Elessar, or of Eldarion? Or much sooner - like 1-5 years after the War of the Rings? If the former, I have in mind to be a character from Arnor - we could say my grandfather was a son of Halbarad who married a daughter of Elessar and Arwen and was granted the Wardenship of Arnor (or this was my great-grandfather if we're even LATER in time). I'm now come into manhood, but am not in line to be warden myself, having two older brothers, so I have traveled afar to make a name for myself... for now, to begin with a visit to my mother's home (she being a daughter or grand-daughter of Eowyn & Faramir).

If it's sooner after the war, I'll think of something else.

In either case, Ithilien makes sense... it had become the eastern bounds of 'western' influence and is a nice jumping-off point. I suggest that we're now at the White Palace in Emyn Arnen.

(EDIT: PS - uh, sorry, but... what's 'ooc'?)
(2nd EDIT: Oops... I had mixed up some family relations... had two mothers for awhile there! )

Oh... and we've heard some persistent rumor of some mysterious 'Order of Blue Wizards'... whose disciples seem to be 'stirring things up' out east. It seemed like something that could take some looking into!

Oh wait... 'ooc' is 'Out of Character' right?

ooc:
If not Emyn Arnen, maybe there's a new 'frontier outpost' further east - like in front of the old 'Black Gate' or something. I still think Emyn Arnen is a perferable starting point - and then we could move onward from 'civilization' to a more 'frontier outpost' type place or eclectic 'east-meets-west' type place. Also, with the Mountains of Shadow to our east - Emyn Arnen is about dead center, so we could go either north around them or south around them just as easily.

Personally, I hope the game is open such that any can play - at least while we're getting started.

Say... if you can't be a spider (and sure enough, we'd always want to kill you anyway!), is there some reasonable way that you could have a measure of control over spiders? Maybe you could even guide us safely through a particular pass... ??

PS - maybe this is taking the *bossy pants* unto myself... but I'm afraid my regular pair were just heisted in another thread!
