Yeah MS Paint (as you and I use Me#) doesn't let you make moving GIFs.

What are some? Any free (or pirateable) ones that I can download?

I have a new avatar - the Phoenix.

I was looking for one with it coming out the fire - but I didn't really find one. But anyway - I thought this one was cool. I cropped it down and put a little touch into it. Since the anti-Americanism died down for the time being - I thought I could change my avatar to something new.
[edit] BTW - this was the original painting I used - http://www.epilogue.net/cgi/database...ew.pl?id=29417 this guy has awesome paintings I think - Tim Shumate

Also - this one has meaning to me that I was thinking about. With things not going as planned for the last couple of years and with things actually picking up on my website - I hope that my life will be like the phoenix and I will regain everything that I have lost and gain even more. So the Phoenix is my current mascot. Of course I will always have the Jersey Devil as my REAL mascot.

[edit]Not that my love for Phoenix are anything new. I've always loved them.

I didnt want to... it was forced upon it for some reason. Threads over 1000 posts were getting closed... but the Avatar Shop was one 700 or something... wierd!

We haven't made a custom avatar for someone for a while. Does anyone have avatar needs they'd like us to fill?

I love your new avatar JD. Though the cute little devil will always have a special place. I immediately thought phoenix when I saw it, and it also makes me think more specifically of Fawkes from Harry Potter. The twinkling eye is great too. I've been meaning to comment on your avatar for a while now. (Well, since you changed it anyway.)

I always think JD is Arien the Maia now! She had an avatar with similar colours.
Twinkling eyes seem to be popular among avatars nowadays
