Came upon Caras Galadhon as I said before.
They saw mallor trees taller than any they'd seen before and they saw many tiered branches and countless light.

How's that?

They came upon a deep lane between the ends of the wall?

Gandalf this is what was sought and not found precisely

they had gone some ten miles and noon was at hand when they came on a high green wall. Passing through an opening they came suddely out of the trees. Before them lay a long lawn of shining grass, studded with golden elanor that glinted in the sun.

Thanks, TD. I certainly enjoy active trivia games on the books, so I think I will stay a while for that. Here is my question:

The last time that Bilbo and Gandalf were talking in Shire, Gandalf became alarmed when Bilbo referred to the Ring as what?

TD, that was fast! A person would have to get up early in the morning to stay ahead of you in book questions. Next question is yours.

This is probably wrong, but permission to speak more about Gondor?

"Give me leave, Master Elrond," said he, "first to say more of Gondor; for verily from the land of Gondor I am come."
