Sure a lot of pouncing going on in the Teacup these days... We should make that an Olympic discipline.

I got a great story from work today

Random Customer: So what are you studying at UTSA?
Me: Oh, I'm a singer.
Random Customer: *aghast* What?! But you seem so sweet!
Me: *not sure I heard her right* ... err... what?
Random Customer: Oh, nothing. Just... I mean, you seem too innocent for that.
Me: Well... I haven't got my opera face on right now.
Customer: Well that makes sense.

Is it really a stereotype that singers are the opposite of sweet?

I think I had a good day today, but I'm not sure why. Hm.

Oh yeah, especially for opera singers there is a huge stereotype of narcissism and diva behavior.... and frankly knowing a number of them myself, some of that reputation is deserved .

But honestly overall it's not... there are a lot of sweet singers out there, they just get a bad name from the raging divas .

Oh, but I'm sure you can be quite the diva if you're in the mood for it?
*huggles Tessar* Hiya! How are ya?

It's the divas that people take notice of, not the nice singers. People tend to notice bad behaviour more readily than good.

I really hope I'm on when it's time for Cafe XXXI!! So... close!!!

Hiya! *tackles Varna*
I'm finally home! And it seems like they finally have enough forms to process my diploma-application. Thank heavens, because it was driving me crazy >_<

I'm having Polish chocolate right now with a dancing cow for a logo. It doesn't taste too bad. Anyone want to try? I also have Polish vodka if that is more to your likes.

My Swiss chocolate beats your Polish chocolate any day!

I wouldn't mind some vodka though. My bottle of Polish vodka is practically empty...

Chocolate, yes, please. Vodka, no way. As I've mentioned before, I don't drink. Thanks, Mari!

*tackles Mari back*

I'd like to try some Polish chocolate, please!
Although I wouldn't be surprised if Jonathan is right about his Swiss chocolate ...

I'll abstain from the vodka ...

*hands Jonathan the bottle of vodka* Here, please have it. I don't know what my friend was thinking when she gave me this.

Well, as I said, the chocolate isn't that good because it's creamy milk chocolate and I prefer dark pure chocolate. But the nuts are nice.
*breaks off a few pieces and hands them around*

I prefer dark pure chocolate as well - but this isn't bad for creamy milk chocolate. I agree that the nuts are nice.
(*takes Mari's word for it* )
