It's been forever since I've read the Hobbit, but here goes...

What were the dimensions to Thorin's door?

Gwaimer! You have to answer my question corretly before you can ask a question! "Trolls " was wrong!

Once again...........

Who dosen't know a "good bit of work from a bad" and "can't make a thing for themselves"?

Oh no!

One thing the answer to the question DOES have is "a good notion of the current market value". (of gold and jewels)

Oh, dear me, humblest apologies. I thought you were "Nooooo"'ing because I got it. Deeply apologize.

Dragons is my only guess, if not Trolls. Seemed to fit the Trolls well, though.

Well, you should have "second guessed" yourself, because "dragons" is the answer!

Hmm. Never would have thought they couldn't tell a good work from a bad. The thing that made me guess that was the market value. Anyway:

Yeah, he got Dragon sickness (greed), took a load of treasure and ran away. He later died in the wilderness lost and alone (I think).

It's over to yooooooooo!

I agree. I remember reading something about him getting really greedy and taking treasure and rowing away, leaving his people alone or something like that.
