While I realize the deals on Black Friday can be quite extreme and money saving, I really don't understand how anyone would want to throw themselves in such a throng of people. I start feeling faint in shops with more than 1 customer per aisle...

Black Fridays changed a lot. Now deals start in the afternoon on thanksgiving.

I'm 11 weeks and I'm due around Sept. 27.
Probably not - but I did tell my mom that we were considering Arwen if it was a girl. Then I told her we also liked Jadzia Dax (from Star Trek: Deep Space Nine) to which she said she liked Arwen better. I thought it was funny, (nearly) ten years ago, when I joined here, I was quite a nerdy high schooler... Now I'm all married, and having a baby... Oh, listen to me getting all nostalgic.

I know what you mean, Midge. I was also in high school, homeschooled, and Entmoot was the only place where I talked to people outside of my family (and even here I didn't post all that much, though I lurked constantly!)
College changed me SO MUCH  I look back at my old posts, and barely recognize that person. But my love for Tolkien hasn't changed one bit! Congrats on the baby!

Sort of. It took some time but I spent only half a day on getting everything to work as it should. Putting everything back on the external hard disk took about a day and a half, but all I had to do for that was select the stuff and hit 'copy to USB device'.
More happy news: I once again finished grading and putting all my grades and evaluations in the system well on time! No last minute stress for me again! Yay me *pats self on the back*
