Linaewen looked up at the blue sky. The sun was shining and there were no clouds in sight. The weather was perfect for a match of mud wrestling, Linaewen thought. This was one of the most beautiful days in her life.
At the same time, Ruinel look up at the merciless sun that threatened to fry her. This was one of the worst heat-waves that Ruinel had ever experienced. The only time the sun had been more cruel to Ruinel, was when she fell asleep in her own backyard and got a sunburn on her bottom. It really hurt and she couldn’t sit anywhere. All that she could do, was to rub ointment on her behind, gently put cold compresses and lean over the back of chairs to rest. And the peeling afterwards was itchy.
But Ruinel was full of confidence, she was sure she could win this match and she had even left her One Thong at home. She started the mud wrestling by knocking down Linaewen in the mud. But Linaewen quickly got up and made an elegant back flip, kicking Ruinel in the chin in the process. “ACK!”, Ruinel said. “That hurt even more than my sunburn on my butt. Now you’ve really pissed me off!”. And Ruinel grabbed Linaewen and threw her onto the ground. They began wrestling violently, and the mud slices filled the air. But Linaewen had the advantage of being quite cool, while Ruinel was sweating like a pig and she was thirsty. After many minutes of fighting, Ruinel’s thirst became too great. She succumbed to it, and Linaewen was victorious. In her happiness, she started singing: “Waltzing Matilda, waltzing Matilda…” while Ruinel was carried out from the mud pit by the spectators.
