It drew now to evening by the hour, and the light was so dim that even far-sighted men upon the Citadel could discern little clearly out upon the fields save the burnings that ever multiplied and the lines of fire that grew in length and speed. At last, less than a mile from the City, a more ordered mass of men came into few, marching not running, still holding together.
The watchers held their breath until they began to turn blue and purple. "Faramir must be there," they said. "He can control men and bikes. He will make it yet."

They were carrying a stretcher on which lay Faramir.

Gandalf rushed out."What happened?"

"He was hit by an extremely high note of Heavy Metal and dozed off into a coma."

"Ok. Take him to the E R." Gandalf ordered.

The men carried Faramir gently in thru the Gates and up the winding road to the level in which the E R was located.

After they had carried Faramir into the City, the Guards closed the Titan-reinforced Gates.

No one would exit the soon to beleaguered City again for a long time.

Pippin wondered where the Rest of the Homies where and how Frodo and Sam were doing, as he and Beregond were ordered off the premises closest to the Gates.

Troopers in green-brown camouflaged combat fatigues took up their positions along the wall and the Gates.

over in the Healing tent though, it was more techno ..boom,boom,boom went the bass, with the melodic machine that went "BEEP" set to a heady echoing reverb.

Suddenly the Doctor turned down the system and standing by Denethor, took out his guitar and shaking his long flowing be-flowered hair began to sing...

"All you need is love ... ... love is all you need ..."

Denethor was having none of it though and hair greased and spiked up he began...

" I'm a fire-starter ...twisted fire-starter ..Yaa, yaa, Yaa!" ...

Out on the Field of Pelennor the approaching Unionist Head-banging ORCers was finally having a ball torching empty buildings and throwing bricks through windows and other ORCist regular entertainments.

Orcs #3, #4 and #5 of the subsection of the subsection of the subsection of the ORCers 339 of the Cirith Ungol engage the enemy, that is their protagonists in the ORCers 337 with well-aimed bricks, blood flowing and bones cracking until the Chairman of ORCers 335 slams his slegdehammer in the ground and shouts:

"For crying out aloud aren't we supposed to be fighting the White-Skins not between ourselves? You numbskulls, get going!"

still, the laughter stopped the fighting... and with a great cheer the 335's, the 337's and the 339's carried on smashing windas and lighting up the night ...

ORCers not having any taste (as we all know) threw themselves on the huge piles of fashion magazines, especially those with Paris on the cover. Some sneaky Gordonese Commandos snuck up behind them and knifed their unprotected backs with their sharp bowie-knives.

Outside, Gordonese 105 mm howitzers and automatic guns opened up on the advancing main ORCese forces.

Many orcs fell to the roller skates and caltrops....but hordes in the tens-of-thousands marched on.

The sky darkened....making for an excellent laser and light show going on at the amphitheater at Gondor Community College (GCC). Many of the students were tripping on the show and oblivious to the "happenings" in the fields below. The sky continued to darken...

A bird was lost for a moment.

The Army of the Witch-King stopped their march within a mile of the wall, and began set up their modernized Pilums (latin for catapult) and began showering the hidden troopers who was taking cover beneath the first wall.

Bedlam! Mini-guns, M-16's, trench mortars and grenade throwers opened up on the ORCers who took cover behind raised shields and the rapidly trashed Pilums.

meanwhile back in the citadel the thin white duke, lately ridden in from the south, was about to take the pepsi challenge ...
