Now I'm gonna further confuse things by trying to explain myself. There wasn't a bird. Kalile jumped out of the tree, and that's what I get for trying to be poetic and descriptive when I'm not a writer.

Kalile jumped out of a tree. I don't know whether she's wanted by the bad people or if she was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. I dunno, someone *hint bad people* will have to tell me if I'm some rebel mastermind or something.

Everyone else is either running from the fire or watching it from a tower. Typically, the good guys are the ones running.

Oh! You mean Gumbo? (long story, lol) I've heard of that title before... but no story behind it. Oh well, it's all right I suppose. I have yet to catch up with all of you. (Not bad for only having registered in early Sept)
