Hey! That was mine! Well, sort of. . .

I think I'll want to live in Amber's world, as one of Amber princes.

I would have to go with the lands in Eddings's The Belgariad and The Malloreon. Second would be Middle Earth. Peace.

Actually I'd probably create my own fantasy world to go to. If I couldn't though, I'd definitely go to Narnia. I know Aslan is Jesus. For me, that's a good thing. (Yes, I am a Christian)

Anywhere where there can be serenity. I'd love to go to Rivendell in Middle Earth and forget the world outside. No war, no pain, no suffering- just an immortal life with the stars and great literature that dates back as far as the beginning of time. Not worrying if some crazed politician will push a button and blow us all to hell. Just a world where peace reigns, Sauron is defeated and a few elves remain away from the havens to keep me company. That's my fantasy world. Mx

Of course I would definitely NOT say no to living in Middle Earth (unless there were *certain* strings attached). Especially if I got to be whatever I wanted to be. I'd love to be an elf. And if I could DO anything I wanted: lead a quest to find the Entwives, succeed, get them back together with the Ents, and never regret it.

I'd go to Middle Earth, probably, though I wouldn't mind visiting Tar Valon or Caemlyn on the way back (I've always wanted to meet Nynaeve and Mat)

My first choice would be Lisman, my own secondary world. After that comes Middle-Earth, and the world of the Belgariad and Malloreon. Narnia would be interesting (yes, I'm a Christian too), as would Faerun. So many choices...My head hurts...

Wow. So many places I've yet to visit.

Are there no Iain M Banks fans here? The Culture is deeply groovy. Everything run by benign AI; the entire civilisation devoted towards making life lovely for its occupants.

Second choice, of course, to Cerin Amroth.

Oh of course! *smacks self on head* How could I, as a writer, have forgotten my OWN favorite world to write about? (Not that I can tell you anything...I'd have to kill you!)

Have just remembered a place I used to dream about in my early teens. It was in this book called my secret love and it was called Starbright. There was this gorgeous hero in it called Doren and he was a rebel against a corrupt scientific society and had tamed this creature called a wingsaur that would carry him and his lady anywhere. How I'd like to live there and be that lady. Mx

You'd actually want to go to The Wheel of Time for a while? That's the world I'd least want to go to, even though I really like the books .

I personally am very interested in other people's fantasy worlds, so I'd be interested in hearing whatever you have to say about it (Even at peril of losing my life ). But of course you can keep it to yourself if it's likely to publish.

Are you saying that you'd prefer to live in your own fantasy world than any other? I personally think I'd rather live in Narnia than in the fantasy world that I invented, because Narnia is simply more peaceful, lovely and propserous for the inhabitants than most other worlds.

I think it would be fun to be in the Wheel of Time! Frightening true, but exciting! I love the characters, I wouldn't be able to turn down a chance to meet them

As long as I'm not around during the Last Battle

Well, I sent a response to that, but as it is so Wheel of Timeish, I've posted it in the other topic.

Personally, I'd like to go to the star Wars world, or Middle-Earth.

Any other that I've read about so far, yes, particularly if I could be a certain type of person (and hey, even if I couldn't I'd have fun, I'd become a historian or something, lol)

As for my book, if it ever gets published, I'll tell you what name it's under. First, though, I must finish writing it. LOL.
