I originally was thinking of making it a day or so, but I ended up deciding two hours because I wanted to keep what happens between Tessar and Colmade happening at basically the same time as what happens with the rest of the company. It's simpler that way.
Oh yes, here's one small question: how did it happen that cave trolls were fighting in the sunlight? Or orcs either, for that matter? Unless they're specially bred for missions like this, which I suppose is possible also. The battle of the Pelennor Fields for instance I don't think took place after nightfall. The Uruk-hai though were a crossbreed of men and orcs formed by Saruman. I don't think Sauron had any.
