*whimpers* Alas for my bow! It cannot be replaced, for it was given to me by my father, when i was but a wee lass of 13! This was after I had been trained in traditional persian and scythian horse archery! Also the same time I got Volricom! That bow was precious! I am nigh into tears!!!
SHIIIIIIIT! That pisses me off more than being sick! I've already packed the most part. I just gotta disassemble my motorcycle. I didnt have anything to bring, I live very spartan like. MOTHER OF MARY! but the one precious thing I did bring wound up toast!

Hmm, this most certainly is related to the splitting up of the 1000 post topics. Not sure how exactly though. Most of that was spam anyway guys :P.
littleadanel, when I did the "find posts by user" I got back 103 posts, while your current post count is 54. Very odd. Maybe you only lost 50 posts and not 500?  If posts were somehow deleted, then the post counts will go down. Boards are quirky - remember topics like the Venting Thread vanished?

 edit: it seems like I'm down three hundred posts. It's more the mysterious deletions than the actual number that bothers me. (Though I was pretty proud of 6700 posts. )

Well, he replaced mine, so I imagine one has to ask him and then he'll replace them. All the re-arranging work they had to do accidentally altered a lot of people's counts.

i dont know if you've noticed, but the number of posts shown in the "find posts by user" and the post count shown are not the same for almost anyone.
They haven't been in who knows how long. Go check anyone - it is off. Some have more posts in their post count than found in the "find posts by user" and some have less. Who knows why. I just changed the post counts of those who noticed a drop due to the re-arranging of the threads.

This came up before - the "find posts" thingy only goes back 5k posts, IIRC. That's why it was hard for us major posters to find our first post when we were all looking for our first posts! BOP came up with a clever way to do it, but I don't remember it.

well, ive fixed it now. for some reason it was set to show 5000 results. I set it to like 15000 for the moment.
You should be able to see your first post now :P Rian, the find posts thing shows you as having 8292 posts, but your post count says 8822 - more than the number of posts it finds. very odd. Nurv is shown as having 5695 with the find posts thing now. --------------------- It is all very off, and probably nothing we can do about it :P
