My sig is for my love of Firefly. It will probably change in the future, I like change and in some ways, addicted to it.
This is your captain. We have a little problem with our entry sequence, so we may experience some slight turbulence and then explode. Malcolm Reynolds- Serenity Were there monkeys? Some terrifying space monkeys maybe got loose. Malcolm Reynolds- Firefly The cutest mechanic in all the universe

That's a series my siblings and I watched and really enjoyed also. And the movie they made for the finish was also really, really fun . I somewhat wished they'd been able to do a bit more with Annoura in the final movie, but perhaps I just need to see it again. The character development in those films was really good.
RĂ*an, totally agree about Monty Python and the Holy Grail . That was just thoroughly hilarious. I loved it. How do you feel the TV episodes compare with the movie? I've not seen them yet.

I too love the Python, for it is very Monty. My sig is of Sam, and has been for a long time. Sam is my favourite LotR character and this is one of my all-time favourite quotes!

*Has a giant SQUEE moment for Firefly because it rocks*
The first part of my sig is from The Crucible, chosen as an overdramatic attempt to express why I chose to change my name on here... and because I like that particular bit. The second part is just a random sentence out of my first Latin textbook that we were assigned to translate. It means: 'Don't annoy the Hippopotamus.' Good advice I thought.

Fickle thing that I am, I've added another quote to my sig. This one is Latin.
'Fama gloriaque hookae semper vivent.' It translates as 'The fame and glory of the hookah will live forever.' I don't think Latin has k's, though, but if I make it 'hoocae' it would be pronounced, 'oochay'. Maybe 'hoochae', since H's are silent? Or probably better, 'huchae'. But enough of my ramblings. Smoke, people!

Here's my Sig Part by part:
I am Acalewia, Daughter of Middle Earth We must trust to Hope. She is all we have left that will not falter My motto. Ok my RPG character's motto. I also use it as my e-mail sig I'm going to live the way I love And love the way I live Walk the highest wire Stay out on a limb Away from any fences Free of any chains Unbound Untied Untamed The chorus of one of my favorite songs, Untamed by Tace Adkins. It kinda fits my personality, too. JustNarnia- where Narnia and LotR meet The Link to my Narnia Board. The owner is a die-hard LotR fan. I am also a mod there. Unleash the warrior within an RPG board called Atharon. I spend as much time there as I do here. Btw, Firefly rocks! I love it, though I haven't seen the movie yet. I do have the theme for Firefly on my computer.

After dragging along with the same signature for five years, I've decided to change it.
Below is my former sig. I'll post it here so I can remember which mooters used to be part of the 4Artanis team. Thank you, all members ★ Help find the cure for Cancer! Join our Entmoot team - 4Artanis ★ And this is my new sig, which is an excerpt from a translation of the Chinese philosopher Lao Tsu's work Tao Te Ching. I've edited and shortened it a lot to keep it under 500 letters. True words rarely sound fine. Fine words are not always true

Wow, that's quite a change Jonathan.
I've updated mine here and there. Nothing dramatic though.

Aha. I dare say it was in need of an update. I wasn't on the team for at least the last two years since my computer couldn't run the progamme anymore.
I like the new sig, both contents and looks.

Thinking of putting it as a sig for a long time..
I'll leave it to the first verse I think, it's the best part=) Gil-galad was an Elven-king. Of him the harpers sadly sing: The last whose realm was fair and free Between the mountains and the sea.
