If you join Columbia House DVD club, online, you'll be notified when it comes out. You only have to buy something like 3 DVDs over a year period which I how i got involed. It's great.

I've got to get out of here, just give me One Good Year!

I just saw it last night. I love it! Now its on my list of movies to buy. I loved the director's use of camera angles and the battle scenes. One scene did remind me of Faramir's sucidal charge. One word: WOW!!!

Absolutly loved it. The acting was amazing. Bloom could have been better, but I appreciate the amount of thought he gave the character. It seemed like he was really trying and he did well enough so as to not bring down the film. It was also pretty accurate which is always a good, with the exception of Bloom's character, which for dramatic effect had a make over. The battle scenes are amazingly shot and taken to the level of reality that you're scared out of your wits when the battle is fully raging. I love sword fights, and eat them up, and I had never been as scared in a midevil battle seen as I was while watching Kingdom of Heaven. Which is another thing I really appreciate about the film. How much attention Ridley Scott took to making the story as real as possible, to the point where you he doesn't even want you to enjoy the battle scenes, what most people will be going to this movie to see. A very brave act. To make a epic in which your not supposed to enjoy the battle scenes...talk about gutsy. The soundtrack is also amazing . I've already bought the DVD, and am eagerly awaiting the Extended Edition, which will be Scott's Director's Cut even though he keeps calling it his Extended Edition.

I personally think this film was better then Gladiator, though Gladiator is unbeatable when it comes to acting and the chemistry between it's actors, Kingdom of Heaven is more about the story and less about the action than Gladiator is, and a more fulfilling story to begin with. I still love Gladiator, though! Russell Crowe's the bomb!!!

The US too. I need to get the soundtrack too. I agree with my whole heart with Bran. It kept me on the edge of my seat. He really was true to the time period.

Oookay. I disagree. I haven't seen it yet, but I still disagree, because I know that I am going to love it.

I had no intention of seeing this movie - but I will be seeing it for free.

I noticed that on the wall of new releases at Blockbuster that all their copies of "Kingdom of Heaven" were gone with a big sign on each row saying something like "guarunteed in stock or you get it for free"

So now I have a raincheck for a free rental of "Kingdom of Heaven"

I watched it, and it was great! As you predicted . I liked the character development and the soundtrack a lot. The battlescenes of course were good. Movies nowadays seem very good at doing battlescenes, though all the swear words in many sci-fi films sometimes get a bit wearying. This movie didn't have that (so far as I remember), and was very, very enjoyable.

I can't believe over seventy posts about one film that many agree isn't worth the price of a rental.

Only those weak in body, small in mind, limp in heart, corrupt in character, worthless in soul and pointless in existence make such treasonous, gutless and diseased comments as the one you just made.
