I hope so.

Nautipus, the town I live in was a small town a few years ago. It had a population explosion right before I moved here

That's exactly like the town I'm living in right now ( not my home-town, which is still tiny, less than 3000 people), the town I'm living in right now has like 50000 people living in it, but forty years ago it wasnt even on the map.

I was actually going to use the town I'm in now as the basis for this story, but decided on a different one.

So much for the church. "It" made me think of the Steven King novel.

Like the clown? Dang, I was hopin' to avoid that. But I figured that "It" would be the best name for these people to call.....you know, It. How'd ya like the Roanoke reference, and the Bible one too? In either case I would love to stay away from Stephen King's stuff. Not a big fan of his writings. Some of his older stuff is pretty good, but now he's just pumpin' it out.
The scene i have really been waiting to write is coming up soon, and I cant wait. I hope it'll be the creepiest yet. I wont be able to post again until Monday, so see ya then.

Alright guys, I've been under alot of pressure at school and havnt really had enough time to type on this thing, because I'm typing on another story that I've been working on for a looooong time, and I also would rather go hang out with friends to detox. Hang in there, I'll get one out soon. I promise.

And you expect me to sleep after that!?

Btw how did Alex and Tyler know that it looked like the thing from Tasha's dream? Did I somehow miss Tasha telling them about the dream?

Or is that for our reference?

Are you getting this published? I know a couple of people that would love this and I can tell you I'd buy a copy just so I could read this over and over.

I think you have Stephen King beat at this point. Although I admit I haven't read any of his stuff.

I -thought- I had put in there where they had talked about it, but I'll go back and check, sorry for the confusion.

I've halfway thought about getting it published, but not seriously. If you know those people pretty well, e-mail them a copy and tell me what they think.

Thanks! You should read The Mist. It's short, sweet, and to the point.

I would If I had their e-mail. A couple of them don't have Internet. Yet.

Sounds like some of my stuff.

Speaking of, expect an e-mail from me soon

Does I gets one, Acalewia?

I know I've been busy and rather unresponsive as of late, but I promise I'll give some feedback on it.

It doesn't take a three year old with a crayon to outdo Stephen King.

What do you know? Youve never read any of his stuff.

Although, I'm not much of a fan myself, only -some- of his older stuff is good.

I'm impressed by the way you're weaving this story. It does remind me of what I've heard of The Mist (which I should read) in a few ways. It is creepy.

The only thing I don't like 100% is the writing style. It could definitely use improvement, first of all spelling-wise. There's a good deal of errors here and there, ones which distract from the atmosphere.

Thank you, thank you. I actually just read The Mist a couple of weeks ago, then saw the movie. So I didnt really get any of my ideas from there.

Thanks for the CC. But just remember that I'm actually typing this as a rough draft on entmoot, and then revising on my own computer, and it the revisions your not seeing. But thanks for pointing that out.
