Haradrim, may you live into your name!
Nurv, I'll skew the average age for sure! But, what the hell, that's what old people are for! Somebody's got to stabilize the lot of you whippersnappers!

You won't skew it by introducing bias at least. (Unless my previous issues end up true.) You'll just be on one of the tails of a normalized curve... the left tail... yeah.
Actually, I suspect that Entmoot's age distribution would be negatively skewed. In non-statistical mumbo-jumbo I think there are a lot more young people than older. (Disproportionate to world population distributions - which introduces another problem, because different countries have different distributions.)

I agrre with you Nurv. I think there are more young people than old people here. but, off course it depends on when a person is old. for me the most of you will seem like all-ready rotting fossils

I turn 16 in february. Its wierd how everyone wants to be older until the rough age of 24 then everyone wants to be younger. its just odd..... and I think its good that we have some skewers on this thread that makes it more interesting.

Aha, but as Dennis asserts, 37 is not old!
Pytt, fossils don't rot, they're fossilized! See, more arguments that we're not old.

All Irish ... except for maybe a smidge of Swedish. This last isn't certain but one of my living ancestors has lupus, and there are rumors of an unspecified non-Irish marriage way back when... But for all practical purposes: Irish.
I'm 48, I live in Portland, I have three daughters and a grand-daughter, I dig my cat, I write poetry, play guitar/sitar/ukulele/bass, and I read a lot. |

I just moved from Oregon (were I was born) to New York this last summer for a great job. There are Two adults, Three children, One kitten (very very cute), and Two fish in our home, plus variouis spiders and creepy crawly things down in the basement. Elfhelm, I lived in Hillsborow (spelling) for a couple of years, I too play guitar (clasical for the most part as a get older).

I'm glad that topics such as this one are allowed here :P
At another forum which I frequent, they edit out any and all personal info that you give if you are under 18, and discourage it in general - so you cant even say your age without it being edited out. They will remain nameless though *cough sf-fandom cough* I'm 16, turning 17 in April. Junior in HS. Hobbies: Music (I play the Euphonium and Trombone), being lazy, sleep, movies, etc..... Now i'm going to go to sleep.

Entmpoot Census
I'm 47 and am a native American of German and English heritage. I live in the beautiful Pacific Northwest mountains and I work and support a family. When I goof off, I like to write stories usually based somewhat on Middle Earth, and I used to write RP, but have gotten away from it of late and settled into collaborative writing with a couple other writers.
Anyway, thats a start....

We're you referring to me? I'm not old, I'm only 21!
Hey, if you guys want, we could compile everyone's answers into an Excel spreadsheet, and make a graph! I could host the final graph and everyone could look at its spiffiness! We would just need to decide what fields to include. I suggest a simple one. How about age and gender? We could have a separate table for country, because that would be an insane graph. What do you think?

LOL Sun-star, are you guys siblings?
I will make the spreadsheet, since people seem to like it. This thread was started on the 24th IIRC, eh Haradrim? Now, for country, I think we should put the country that you would say if someone asked you "What country are you from?" Now, this may seem obvious, but I live in Sweden right now even though I'm from Canada, and Fenir would probably say Ireland, even though he has lived in Australia for a while. I thought of another cool field to add - number of languages spoken (and what they are). I speak English and French. I'm fluent in the above languages. But you could also say I speak Swedish (badly ) what do you think guys? EDIT: We should call this... the Entsus! I noticed most people didn't put gender, so we can drop that category. If you guys want.
