I think that the reason alot of people don't want to date is b/c in this day and time, teenagers get pressured alot to do things that they shouldn't. Personally, I would rather just not date than to have a guy put that pressure on me, orf or me to be put in an awkward situation like that. Personally, I've made the decision that I'm not going to date someone who's not a Christian b/c I don't want to be, shall we say, "dragged down" spiritually. That's my decison and I don't think anyone should look down on one's decisions, but respect it, no matter what it is. *steps down from soapbox*

...I've never dated once my whole life, and I'm 19...but it's also that I'm kind of too "weird" for most girls. You just cant come up to me and say "Hi I like you" and expect me to conjure up a goofy smile. In fact I'm quite sure I'd do the opposite...I like maintaining my "austere" "I dont have time" pretensions...Of course I'm not austere, neither am I short on time most of the time...

I'm just too "absorbed" reading good stuff.

As for the "looks" aspect of me, you can judge for yourself in my pic at the pic thread...it may have something to do with it, I'm not sure...
