I really like Unicorn's and the Sphynx.

I don't know if anyone else has every heard of theses but I have a facination with Snipes. When I was younger and I wouldn't go to bed my parents would tell me that the Snipes would kidnap me if I didn't go to bed. I used tp be afraid but now I think their cool!

Ever heard of a Snipe Hunt? It is where you lead someone deep into the woods and then ditch them so they are stranded, alone, in the woods.

Wanna go on a Snipe Hunt? Any one?

Have you seen the movie "Straw Dogs"? Nasty bit of celluloid w/ a snipe hunt of the most hideous kind

Hehehe...

Snipes, I think, are basically manisfestations of what ever you fear. When I was little girl I was deathly afraid of fish monsters under my bead (Wierd I know) so when my parents threatened me with snipes that is what I would imagine. My best friends was afraid of mummies, so snipes for her would have been a mummy.

I could be wrong though, does anyone else know what snipes are?

Now that you mention it they do...to bad I didn't have a wand and an ultra-cool defense against the dark arts teacher to tell me to laugh at them!

There was an article recently about a British named operation in Afghanistan called Operation Snipe where they wer trying to find al- Quaida members or something. This caused a lot of snickering from the American troops, because although the Brits named it for birds that hide in the underbrush, Americans know a snipe hunt as what was described above: one unsuspecting person is led in the woods at night to hunt for snipe and left there. In other words, searching for something that will never be found, and looking the fool for it.

ANYway, I included centaurs with mine because they are half beast and I like 'em. Hey where else could I bring them up?

I love centaurs also, but I didn't mention them because I thought that they didn't count as creatures. Most books have them as sentient beings, so I go with them!

I like drakes

They're like small versions of dragons. I think I'd rather have a drake because dragons are too hard to control.

Never heard of a drake before. But if they're like dragons only smaller, then I would want one!

I think Pegasus is my favorite. It's strange, I never really cared for horses all that much, but the thought of a pure white horse with wings captures my imagination.

Dragons...*evil grin* I love dragons...I have a notebook with dragons all over the front.
My best friend's boyfriend wants to be a dragon.

What dragon-lover wouldn't want to be a dragon? They're so powerful...*evil grin*
