Lotesse is the rarest of mooters, very shy and finicky (and at the same time extremely agressive at the slightest hint of....anything really) . She tends to favor fresher pastures now adays, can't say I blame her.

Animal news: A new species of rat has been discovered in Indonesia . . . five times as big as normal rats!

Look at this picture. The creature is enormous.

And apparently its a friendly little booger too. came up to check out their camp with no fear.

But God have mercy on whatever cat that decides to chase that thing.

Here's a quote from the article:
Quote:
"The giant rat is about five times the size of a typical city rat," said Kristofer Helgen, a scientist with the Smithsonian Institution in Washington. "With no fear of humans, it apparently came into the camp several times during the trip."

The possum was described as "one of the world's smallest marsupials."
So is this thing a rat or a possum? Oh CNN must you confuse everything? Edit: Never mind, I just can't read. A rat and a possum were discovered.

Still, it's very cute. I wonder if they'd make good pets. Personally I'm quite fond of the usual sorts of pet rats, and they don't need too much space.

Hahaha, great risks, but with the possibility of great reward.
