Does anyone have an opinion whether Facebook or Myspace or some other is the best? Are there differences?

Myspace is really addictive. I'm on now actually. I am open to any request. As for Tolkienfan, I pesonally prefer myspace. Facebook was very confusing for me, and not really that much fun at all.

As for everyone else, my myspace link is in my siggggg.

I prefer facebook. I can't stand the layout of Myspace, and while I have an account, I hardly ever use it.

It's a "glass slipper-free" zone.

Also, the only way I know to add people is with email addresses, and I don't have any of those.

I've been thinking about deleting my facebook anyway. I hardly use it for anything worth doing. I've been using the excuse of "It makes it easy to keep in touch with people" but really, I don't know if that's true. And most of those people I don't really care about anyway. Or I do, but they live too far away for our "I miss you, we really should get together"s to mean much.

A few years ago, everyone needed a homepage, then a blog, then it's the showdown of the "social networking" sites.

Let's all admit we want Scotty to beam us up.

It's an easy way for me to keep in touch with all my college friends back in the States - I like it. Myspace has never done anything for me, though.

Really? But I like seeing the changes in your profile pics etc.

And how can I send you the occasional flowers if you delete it?

Just kidding.

I'm mainly on it to keep in touch with people from Japan with whom I'm not acquainted enough to have lengthy conversations over MSN and to exchange photo's. And I like playing some games, but that's not the main thing for me. It's amazing how many people you can find on Facebook though.
I got in touch with some people again, because they befriended friends of mine.
