Yeah, that was one of the major things they left out of the movie. Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot, and Prongs. They were Remus Lupin, Peter Pettigrew, Sirius Black and James Potter. Good ole marauders. They were named after the kind of animals they turned into (all of them except Lupin were animagi) A rat, a dog, and a stag. I was sad that they left all that out.

Wow, that makes a lot of sense! Pretty simple after ya know what it means! Why would they leave out such a simple thing in the films!?
