Writewraiths in Middle Earth II: The Kingdom Rebuilt

ic: "Hm? Yes, yes he can have a room. Of course he can Adrian, you know that. And I would love to join you..." She trailed off. Something was eating at the back of her mind, something she couldn't quite place...

As I kept on, feeling the wind ripple through my hair, i almost missed the call of a "HO THERE, CHILD!" I opened my eyes, bringing DC to an abrupt halt. I turned around to glare at the hobbit who had shouted at me. "I am no child sir, and I would ask what you are doing, in the lands of the Countess?"

"The countess already eh?" I said, with a twinkle in my eye. "That's fair odd, child, for I only left the Empresses land, and I do belive there is some space between them, if you can call such a wide space of land, "Just space"."

I looked up at the sky, and groaned. "O, no, not again! It's still afternoon! Mum's going to kill me, if she finds out! I'll never get back in time! Aw, man!!!" I kicked DC, heading her back home. It was obvious I wouldn't be home tonght.

I shook my head. A child wandering from home, and would be in trouble. A farm girl, from the looks of her, who was trying to get away from chores. I heard a groan from somewhere and followed it, knowing I would most likely meet the first Writewraith of the day.

ic: I sat Cry down and told him to go inside and wash up, Brave followed. "So, you wrote a book Elijah?" the Empress asked, smiling as she turned the leather bound manuscript in her hands and opening it to the front page. "Yes, it doesn't have a title, unlike a proper story, I woteit and tried to think of a fitting titl once I completed it, but I coudn't think of one, maybeyou can help me," he replied, walking through the door behind her. "Maybe I can, dear boy, maybe I can," she replied.

[Duddun]

He hit the ground with a soft thud. He got up, bewildered by the recent event. All around me was strange and unknown to me...

[Fred Baggins]

"Ho there stranger, are you alright?" I called to the one I had heard. I could tell he was confused, and even more so at seeing a hobbit. It was obvious that he was a writewraith.

[Lubyla]

As we walked down, I looked at her. "Nothing" I said harshly, and pulled away, off to the kitchen to cook her preciouse cakes.

"What is the matter Lady?"Asked the head cook, Arealla.

"I just got news of a death of two peope quite dear to me, that is all." She looked at me."no one you know, so do not worry." It was true, she knew niether one of the two. Countess was off somewhere, I dont know where, nor care. As the cakes finished, I took them out to where Countess and Kathie sat.
"As you wished them, Countess." I turned, no bow, no curtsy, no nothing, and walked away.

[COLOR= skyblue]I stood watching after her. "I would have helped her. She knows I would have." I had all but forgotten about Kathie, who still seemed a little confused. I turned to her, and excused myself. "I'll be right back."

I walked for awhile, until I caught up with her. "Starlight Adams, and don't you look confused about my using your old...your REAL name, and title. I may not be with you all the time, but I knw enough to know somethings wrong. I'm suposed to by your confidant, remember?" I pulled back my sleeve to reveal the scar, etched into my arm, from when we where children, then reached forward, meaning to pull back her sleeve to reveal the identicle scar on her.

[Lubyla]

"I suppose it is the deaths, that brought me to sorrow. There is nothing else." I needed not drop names, for she needed not know who. What was going on? Why did she care now? I tugged at one of my braids." I need to go lay down, I am feeling ill."

[Fred Baggins]

[COLOR= skyblue] "ILL NOTHING! You think I've cared for you like an older sister, long enough to...to...and not know when you are ill? Or when you do not tell the whole truth. That servant of Sauron has been feeding you lies." I glared at her, holding her sholders, arm length from me, so that I could look in her eyes, and not let her get away. I felt the anger seep out of me. "Star, what's wrong? I know you, you have never kept anything from me, and what you have, I can always find out, and vice versa."[/COLOR]

[Lubyla]

Faith could anyway I thought. "Older sister, yes. Right." But it was all true, what he said, or at least, it seemed true. " He brought news of the death of Lubyla, you know hw that makes me feel, i knew her not well, but yet, I knew everything about her! It caught me off gaurd is all, and well, it is hard for me to handle, and I worry, about Illali. She has not been here for the past four years, FOUR YEARS!!!!! Think about it!." My heart sank, for I could not ell her the full truth.

[Fred Baggins]

[COLOR= skyblue] I dropped my arms. "Lubyla? Dead, but how, only fire can kill the stars. And Illali, she is probably with her water sister, or with other Selected." I fell silent. Only fire can kill the stars, and Lubyla had always been most careful. "Andodulin told you of this news? Lies, most likely..." I found it hard to belive myself.[/COLOR]

[Duddun]

He twirled, surprised. There infront of him stood a hobbit. William reached for his forehead to check if he had a temperature but it was normal. "Hello, who are you?" His face betraying his confusion.

[Fred Baggins]

*Freddy touched his head, a sign of greeting* Sorry if I startled you Master...I meant no harm, I have been sent to look for your type. I am Freddigar Burrows, born in Bree, now a humble subject of Her highness the Empress of Writewraiths.

[Duddun]

*Now, settling down from his confusion he notices how short he is. When he sets that aside to ask later he asks, *"Where am I? And what's my type that you are talking about?"

[Lubyla]

"Perhaps, though, why would Lubyla let him out of her sight? Alone?" I settled down a bit. I could feel there was a bit of Faith left.

[Fred Baggins]

I bowed to him, remembering my manners. "You are in the Kingdom of the Writewraiths Master," as an afterthought I added, "In Middle-Earth. And your type are, Writewraiths."

"I dunno," I muttered, feeling like a twenty year old girl puzzling over something, instead of a coutess wizard hobbit, ruling a kingdom. "All I know, is that you yourself said that stars can only be killed by fire. She is a star...in a matter of speaking."

[Lubyla]

I laughed." True, true." I looked over to the far field in the irection of the KOWW. "Well, I must be off, horses dont run themselves!"

[Fred Baggins]

I looked at her a minuet more, and smiled. "All right. Be careful, and look for Dawn while you are out there please? She went for a ride, and should be back by now."

[Lubyla]

"Right." I walked to the horses. A new one stood there, a wild horse I could tell. "Hullo, what is this?" I walked slowly to the horse. I knew it from somewhere, bit where? She was a bit dirty, so as you could not tell her true colour."How did you get here?" She whinnied.

[Duddun]

He staggered, "There is no Middle Earth! What makes you say such foolish stuff?" He snapped. "If this is so. Then take me to the city of Whatever-you-call-em's!"

[Fred Baggins]

I smiled. I remembered when Faith was like this, only I had thought she was Fran. "Writewriaths, Master Dwar- Master." I dismounted the shaggy pony, offering it to him as a mount. "Do you wish a ride? The CASTLE," I emphasized the word castle, for he seemed to think we were not yet in the kingdom, "is not far away, but far enough, no doubt to tire you. And let me ask you one thing master Dw- Sir. If there is no such thing as Middle-Earth, then there is no such thing as hobbits. Therefore I would be a figment of your imagination, being a hobbit, if this is not Middle-Earth."
