I've decided to have our country in Enedwaith, for a few reasons.

1# It isn't very important in the histories, which gives us quite a bit of license to do what we want.
2# It is relatively close to the Barrow Downs, which is going to be an important location in this story.
3# It is easily possible for us to have all of the different races in this land. Plus, it is close enough for us to include that one woman from Rohan that one of you wanted to play? I don't remember who it was. But it is close to everything: Fangorn, Rohan, the Shire . . . the location gives great freedom.

You can look it up on your maps, if you like.

And as a matter of a fact, Blackboar, if you look in the thread "Hytorax", you'll find that I've opened up a direct link between your character and the plot, and you can post any time.

If you play the ent, Zavron, then while Hruad is out meeting Bushbark I could meet Barkbrow as well. The names even sound similar

. But I've not been introduced to Barkbrow yet, though, so Bushbark'll have to introduce us.

How can a creature made out of rock be hurt?

Water, or if you hit it hard enough it might crack or fall into a few pieces, seeing as my carachter is made out of boulders.

Perhaps light, as well? He sounds a little similar to the stone trolls in The Hobbit. Perhaps a crossbreed between them and ents? That would be a foul deed indeed . . .

Fred Baggins, I was thinking about your character, and I expect that she could be a very interesting influence upon the RPG. Being from the Shire originally, she would probably know more about the Barrow Downs than anyone else, which means she would probably be one of the key people to know the powers of the Hytorax, and that it can be used. Her and perhaps one of the elves could work things out together, after they get linked in.

I'm still thinking about how to get all of these elves worked into the plot. Having them will be great- we just have to figure out how they'll figure into events.

Ah, good idea! If you're being a hobbit, you could probably leave with Belladona Gamgee. PM Fred Baggins, and see what he thinks (He's the one who is playing Belladona).

Ms. Undomial, of course you may join! It's incredible how many people have expressed interest here; if we can get half of them actively playing, this will be an awesome RPG. The more the merrier

. What kind of character(s) do you want to be?

Sicirus, I think you and Blackboar didn't read my posts! The RPG has started; it's called Hytorax. Zavron and I have sent a few posts in it, but your character doesn't have to start out in the same area. The characters can originally be scattered, as I expect they will be, considering the largness of the territory we're covering, and the number of players and races we have. Here's the posts where I described the location, and the reasons for it:

The RPG is named Hytorax, which is the name of the magical item the characters are going to be seeking out. It is the heart of the barrow downs.

The first post is a prologue. Later posts will be in the present, dealing with the situation described in the plot.

Hobbits are good at throwing stones, they can move incredibly stealthily. There is also courage and strong character in them. You probably both remembered this, but I've seen hobbits misrepresented several times in RPGs, and I'm simply reminding you
